if you like working for Indians you will like it.
all Indian all the time.
Working for Indians is a pain.........sm
They are rude and they love to talk down to you, especially women....they think they know every damn think about everything and don't know squat.
Indian men are A holes!
Glad you don't "REALLY" have a problem working with Indians
Wow. Your opinion on the subject speaks volumes about your attitude on duplicity.
99% of the equipment that you're using in your home-based transcription company was made in China. I hope that before you accept any job, you apprise your prospective client/employer that you are a Chinese company.
Oh, and my son was born in Germany. He is a U.S. citizen now, but I guess in your book he's still German. Does that mean when he grows up and owns his own company, he'll be faulted by narrow-minded people like you who apparently expect to be fully notified about someone's birthplace before you deal with them in a professional setting? I can already hear it: I don't mind Germans, but...
And when you sit down down to work in your pajamas, I bet you don't give full disclosure to the entire globe about the state of your dress. Does it really matter how you look? Of course not. What matters is that you are getting the job done, right?
Mediscribes/Cardioscribes is a U.S.-owned company. The owners are U.S. Citizens. Are they to be faulted for having ties to India and taking advantage of a premium group of people running the technical side of the operation? That doesn't make them dishonest. That makes them open-minded, resourceful and business savvy. In my book, open-mindedness beats narrow-mindedness every time. I'll take the former, and you can stick with the latter. And in this day and age, I'm afraid you will get left behind with your archaic attitude.
Ditto.. Over 13 years experience working in hospitals doing all types of reports, currently working
for a national etc.. and Spheris told me I didnt have the qualifications. What cracked me up was the hospital I was working at at the time contracted some of our work out to them.. What a joke..I was good enough to work for a hospital and gave them work, yet not qualified enough for them. What is wrong with this picture.
I have experience working
I have experience in these specialties: family practice, internal medicine, cardiology, hem/onc, ENT, allergy, orthopedics, urology/urologic oncology, and pulmonology. I am looking for a job, and you can e-mail me if you would like to.
I have NO experience. I started out working
for a group of radiologists and working my way up to Medquist. I have a B.A. and M.A., but I must say that I studied anatomy and physiology, chemistry, nursing math, microbiology at the local community college which helped me on testing. I couldn't have passed MT tests without these courses. The rest of what I did was fast-talk my way in the door. Good Luck!!!
Its been my experience, even when working in the hospital sm
that MTs with seniority usually get the worst work because it is the more difficult work and newbies usually cannot handle it. Unfortunately, thats the way it works in this field...the more experience you have, the more likely you are to get the crap work. That work has to get done too!
Anyone here working for Medivoxx that can share experience with them? nm
xxxxxx
No, I haven't been. I told my true experience of working for that company.
I don't have a negative attitude. You're the one who can't handle it when someone disagrees with you.
Honestly, I gained my first experience with Escription working for Focus. It was my first online job
So I stayed long enough to get comfortable and then moved on. It was a weird experience working with supervisors in India and the lack of communication but I never intended on staying. I bit the bullet, got my experience and left.
It has nothing to do with Indians
It has to do with any MT of any nationality that will accept to work for peanuts. We had that saying IN-HOUSE back in the day before anyone had heard of off-shoring. Please don't try to look for racist meanings when there are none. What the saying means is that if you pay little enough, you will get a worker (no matter the nationality) who has the knowledge and abilities of a monkey. I have known plenty of that variety right here in the good old US of A.
I think that's because you don't have to pay the Indians to sign on - sm
and yes, I am being sarcastic!! :)
The Idots are the Indians.
What about editing the Indians?
nm
indians editing
THat is not true.... we QA editors never get Indian work, and some companied they get edited twice India and then final editing in US, and it is still crappy.
I'm sure the Indians who devised it, will not
xxxxxxxxx
Indians...Are they really that good?
Indians = monkeys?
Regardless of how I feel about Indian outsourcing, that's a snide remark.
GIVE IT TO THE INDIANS
You are so right. And to take it further I have to say, we as MTs let this happen. Granted, it was the old frog in the pot situation, but the water is boiling now and it's time to JUMP OUT! MTs as a whole simply need to REFUSE to put up with all this cra...nonsense.
I only work my own accounts, as well as some work for a wonderful, small service owner. I tried Spheris and Transolutions a few years back only to experience all the horrors lamented on these boards, and quit both of them in a matter of 2 or 3 weeks. Life's too short to be miserable and broke. You're not making any money anyway!!!!! Have you ever figured out your hourly wage? Especially when you're sitting there all hours just hoping some work will come in! This has been going on for so long, it's pretty clear that it's not going to change, so LET THE INDIANS HAVE IT!!!
Unbelievable! The Indians
can't even MT very well, much less do QA!!! What's this business coming to...
I'd rather edit Indians than VR because sm
I did that and made a lot more money on it than VR. They actually get all the words right except our slang.
Blame it on the Indians! LOL ! Like everything else! LOL..nm
nm
Well, they better have lots of Indians, as I don't
X
Kentucky Indians. nm
How can you NOT KNOW you were training Indians?
The dialect did not give it away? The lack of knowledge of the English language was not telling?
COME ON!
Does it matter if it is being RAN or RUN by Indians..same outcome
Get over it..
not sure of the exact # but there are more Indians than Americans
nm
Of course we are the goldstars - just as the Indians are with their own kind, etc.
Ya gotta think global though.
Mostly Indians. I've never seen anything good
posted above them.
Let the Indians work holidays for OSI
$*#@^%
Why are you making Indians scapegoats SM
for United States greed? My company has more MTs in India than in the United States. The list of US hospitals that prefer the company send reports to India is shocking and makes me sick. But India is doing more to bring business to their country than we are to ours. Whose fault is that? It sure as heck is not the Indians.
But "Kentucky-based" Indians …. nm
So if Transcend uses Indians for weekends,
they have Monday through Friday only positions available for US employees?
What is Cbay. Do they hire MTs. I thought only Indians.
:
The Indians gobbled all those accounts up! Try Focus. nm

I agree, no Indians work for this place.
No Indians in MA u think? Thought maybe they had a few helping there. I'm a rookie outside of my
,
If the Indians weren't all glomming for our jobs there would be more of us.
They have trashed this occupation into the ground, IMO.
Furthermore, I would like to know how the Indians remain HIPAA compliant when there are 27 of them
too many Indians and not enough chiefs monitoring work.
LOL
Most Indians in the MT business are dishonest scum
nm
Sorry - I guess we're getting to be like the Indians - we don't understand what we read
or type.
Just a matter of time - the Indians know they are being short-changed. nm

Americans edit Indian work, never Indians
I was asked to sign something that said I would not tell that I edited Indian work. I would not sign that. Indians cannot edit Indian work.
duh
Americans have to do it.
Transcend--Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Communication is awful.
I've been there a long time and the more team leaders they add the worse the communication gets. Now, you can send a question, help request, or an email to about 8 people and your lucky if one gets back to you. I personaly am sick of it. I don't care if I am asking what day it is, someone should have the common courtesy to respond back. I get tired of talking to myself. I'm done with that. I'm not sure the line counts are accurate either. I can do two pages with them and get 50 lines and cthen I can do two pages on another job that utilizes Dictaphone and I end up with 80 lines. How does that work, especially when they use the same font etc. Bad deal, moving on.
For sure one of the hospitals on their list is NOT their client. Indians lying...
OMG! Medware bought by Indians?!?!? Isn't THAT just great. See link.

This issue IS... Do you want your QA that determines your errors, including punctuation, Indians.???
I have no problem maintaining quality and agree that 98% and above is acceptable and definitely quality what we all strive for, I just am offended that someone I cannot even understand and they cannot understand me, being the ones doing the quality checks on my work. That is my issue with it. You have not been there long enough. I was there a few months before they started bothering me. The problem was that I would tell them No, I cannot do the stat right now as I am logging off and they would still keep asking me. What part of NO in the English language is that hard to understand. Good luck with that.
Focus Infomatics uses Indians to edit Americans' work
They do make mistakes. But if you point it out to them, at least they are willing to learn, they don't get all huffy like Americans do, and the Americans should have better grammar, etc. in the first place!
Big time..They usually have the Indians work at night and weekends. It can be frustrating to log in
and have their not be a lot of work on the account your on. The only Escription account that has extra work is the one in which the hospital had them agreed NOT to send their transcription to India. Otherwise, we have to share our work with our partners as they call them.
Totally unrealistic as long as Indians make it worth their while.
