I actually worked for Medware twice.  I worked part-time early 2007, but left because the local hospital I worked at at the time was picking up.  The hospital did pay better and I had cheaper benefits there.  The hospital built a big surgery center and that work got outsourced and we became significantly overstaffed.   They let go of some people but they told me I could still work in-house, answer the phone, do corrections and work hourly.  If I lived closer to the facility, I would have just taken that but gas was too high plus I like being available to my kids so I left the hospital and went back to MedWare FT. 

When I worked for MedWare before, I was on the Merit side.  I did transcription for a clinic in Texas.  Most of the dictators were clear, but we had a few that were not.  I believe that is pretty much the name of the game anywhere.  When I came back, they put me on the Dictaphone platform.  The account I am on is located in Massachusetts.  Most if it is clear.  There are a few ESLs and some I secretly call speak up dangit' dictators but we have plenty of work, except on holidays.    The pay is always on time.  Individual insurance is not too bad but not as cheap as I had it at the hospital.  If you go to putting your family on it, that is where it gets too expensive.
