Find out if there will be increases. I know that KS starts most at 8 cpl but after 90 days sm
gives an increase based on performance the 1st 90 days. I have been there several years and make 10 cpl but a friend of mine left MQ a year ago and started at 8 cpl and is now at 9 cpl.
How many accts did you experience in 3 days? Been there for a few months and so far so good. I find
but compared to where I was the lines sure do add up, and I absolutely love my acct, supervisor, tech people and QA! All have been great!!

Fairly new co., I believe. Pay wasn't great, I think 8 cents. Told me more at first then said no, have to start out lower until they get established. No thanks, heard that song and dance before. Should've told me lower rate from start. These are medical exam reports and stats were insane. I turned it down. Seemed nice enough and maybe they figured out they need to pay more but that was my experience.

Mostly about the work and benefits.  You should be able to find it, I remember the posts.  Sounded like they were OK. 
That is what I just said. !0 days PTO, period. That includes vacation, sick days and personal days
They should have paid holidays so that you are paid if you take off. Also should inculde extra hours for sick days and personal days.

That annual raise of .002 is kind of a joke especially when at the same time they upped the minimum line requirement from 10,000 lines to 12,000 lines.

OSi just does not have the qualified people in management positions that I wish to work for.

I am glad that you are happy at OSi and all is working out for you. Their dishonesty and the way they treat people just does not work for me.

Of course they can get by cheaply by hiring unqualified people so that is very good for the owners.

Any recent info on Transolutions? 29 days PTO? sm

I am very interested in working for Transolutions again.  It's been many years and I'm currently with the Q.  I went on the Transolutions website and it looks like I can accumulate a total of 29 days of PTO after only three years - granted 6 days for holidays, 3 for personal, a week for sick, etc...?  This certainly beats MQ's 18 days PTO after (I believe) five years of employment.


Does anyone know how Transolutions tuition reimbursement works?  Is it for a specific school, field related and/or specific classes?  I'd also like to further my education but can't afford to and MQ doesn't have any type of tuition reimbursement so that would be nice to have.


I already know about Transolutions' QA program and how they will deduct if you don't meet a 97% score??? - can't remember exact percentage but I didn't have any problems with their QA so not too worried about that.


I'm looking to do radiology only.

I just searched BBB online and they had no listings for DRC at all. I personally have little faith in the BBB. On a few occasions years ago I defered to them for recommendations for services I was thinking of using. Two of the three times I used a BBB-recommended company I got poor service/burned and wasn't ever going to trust their opinion again.

So, unless you called the BBB in their area I really question the validity of the rating. If they do have a bad rating what is it compared to? One F from one disgruntled employee? As we all know, not all MTs can cut it and if someone got fired they could have made a complaint in spite. Even if someone made a valid complaint to the BBB about DRC I really don't care. I speak from my experience. DRC is not a fly-by-night company. They have a good rep, treat their employees well, and I plan to work there until my hands fall off.

I Know Why No One Can Find Info For Datakey.

I was hired by DatakeyMT quite a few weeks ago and these people DO NOT keep in touch. 


First, I was hired.  I had to e-mail them the next day and remind them they hired me.  Then, I was sent the software, which I had some trouble with (I won't go into how many critical grammar errors the manual had).  They tried to help and then just stopped e-mailing me after I sent a screen shot of the configurations and told them it still wasn't working.  After 3 hours, I figured it out myself.  They cheered for that.  Then, I was sent 2 test files; 1 was 6 seconds, the other 7.  I told them there was nothing but silence on these files.  That was 3 weeks ago.  No more correspondence whatsoever.


What a waste of time.  Not to mention, the platform seemed VERY time consuming.

Any info older than 3 months or so will be outdated. Iscriptor has recently been updated and it is much faster now than it used to be as the files now load in the background while you transcribe unlike before where you had to wait in between each report for your completed to upload and the next sound file to download.

They are also on the web as MedScript Services, Inc. I think that they're based in Naples, Florida. I also believe that they use a platform called INSCRIBE. Any comments on the software or company?

and never heard a word and I have over 16 years of experience. I applied because I got a recommendation from a friend of a friend who loves working there..Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get anymore details other than that.  I'm all for even one positive at this point on this frustrating job search. Most want 20 hours over 5 days, but it could be more, or it could be spread over 4 days. nm

It is true. Any job has its good days and bad days.
Perhaps you'd like to just keep your old job and try this one out. Just because a poster here is crabbing about it, or even if as in the past there have been negative posts, odds are that there are very happy people who don't even post or know that this board exists. As Alice says. Everything is relative. The fact that this company is hiring and pays may be a place which is a blessing. As opposed to digging ditches on day labor for example. Or somebody might prefer digging ditches. This is just an example. Sometimes we who are employable, even though we don't make as much as we used to in this business, or as much as we would like to, we still if working at home do not pay for gas to go to work, career clothes, deal with office politics, have to look at a boss who writes us up if we are a minute late, etcetera. I don't make half as much as I used to, but I don't send my 3 children to day care which by the way saves us money. SO I remind my husband I am worth that in addition to my salary if I had a job outside. No job is perfect. I am not even sure if Focus is any good or not, I have not worked there. But if one poster says there are good days and bad, I say that is the most honest answer you are going to get anywhere, and if you need a job badly, how is it to hurt trying it out, until you know for sure for yourself? THanks for listening. But sometimes this board gets to be a bit much with the agendas of people railing on other people like the OP here who just wanted all opinions instead of just one side. Balance is always great. And, if things seem lop-sided, then it is a good thing to seek out both sides. IMHO.

90 days is correct. 3 days off 1st year, 10 during 2nd.
