The OP's post was NOT rude, childish or vulgar, and she had every right to express her feelings and frustration regarding this company. I appreciate her candidness because I came to this board to learn what MTs really think about their jobs, and that includes hearing the negative along with the positive. I'm glad to hear you're happy, but don't discount her opinion and experience because it's not as rosy as yours.

I post on several other sites that do not have spam problems, and people who post can even use a proxy. Sites that require an auth code are tracking - and for a reason. MTSO's filter this board.

No, I'm not *defending* her. I'm just saying that it was no big deal to mute the call -- in fact, it was appreciated.
What I DIDN'T appreciate was all of the talk in acronyms. If she'd put the call on the web, at least she could've had flashcards for translating CDIX or whatever these new programs are.
...And no one has yet explained to me the difference between an MT and a TranOp.
What I also DON'T appreciate is repeatedly holding these meetings WITHOUT an agenda available beforehand. It's impossible to think fast enough to form a relevant question when we don't have a clue what the topics are to begin with.
But then why should I expect these things to run according to Roberts Rules of Order??? The point is NOT for exchange of info/ideas but to TELL us things without time for discussion. Duh on me.
The more mean, defensive postings I see from you indicate to me that

I wouldn't know about the other docs because the account I was on was ALL ESL, very, very difficult to understand ESL's, and one physician that was just impossible to understand, and every time I logged on, it was always him on there. I realize there are ESL's everywhere because I do them on a daily basis, but he was the WORST one I have EVER had and the others on that account were terrible as well. Let's face it...you can't make any money if you can't understand what they are saying. I told them I could not understand them and nothing was ever done about it and I wasn't going to stick around long enough to be their gofer! Like I said, I was disappointed about it, but we all have to pay the bills and I couldn't do that with them! Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a REALLY bad account there and they should be well informed on what they are accepting beforehand.

I'm not the owner. I'm an employee. And if it appears that I'm touchy, it's because I know for a fact that one of TC's ex-employees has done nothing but trash the company, to the point where I had to stop communicating with her because I was tired of hearing non-stop negativity, when she didn't even work there any more. Maybe you're not that person; maybe you are.
Either way, it's a good, solid company, and potential employees shouldn't be scared away by negative posts concerning it.

on here. I posted that I DO NOT own an MTSO but now I am a know-it-all and say things over and over. What the heck does that have to do with a post addressing the accusation that I am an MTSO owner. I work for a MTSO just like the rest of you. I happen to like my job, do well etc. etc.

I hope one of these days this business DOES go back to where it was where you ahve to work your butt off to get experience with ESLs and everything else. The job is weekends, holidays, whenever the work is there is you want to work from home for an MTSO! If not go into a hospital and work int he MR department.. You will still have to work weekends and holidays.

as I know it, the MT work coming out of India is sent to 3 doctors in India who sit in a room and proofread ALL India-MT work........saw a program on cable TV.....and this work is proofed before it comes back to the US.....

There is a lot of work out there with Keystrokes and others. MQ is losing accounts, and the other MTSOs are getting them. I am sure that they want to see quality and limit volume the first few days. I would if it were my company.

Since the Warminster office is being absorbed into the Northeast Region, the only ones who can answer that question for you is the Warminster office itself. I've worked for them for years and have plenty of work - my accounts haven't gone anywhere.
Yes. I get what they call
a tiered incentive on my checks and then get quarterly bonuses to boot. I was quite impressed actually. I started at 8.75 cpl and can earn up to 2 cpl incentive plus the bonuses.
We got Labor day incentives too...$40 for the first 800 lines and $20 for every 400 lines after that.
It may all fall apart but right now I'm happy.
If you truly cannot call, perhaps
it is time to find work with another MTSO/company? That way when one is slow, you will have another as a backup? This is, of course, assuming you are an IC. If you are an employee having communications issues where you cannot even call your employer, I would start looking elsewhere.
