when they say, Oh, we had to cut our rate down to compete with offshoring. That is bull!! I know it and now all of you know it!

MTSOs want to offer you 7-8 cpl. That is unacceptable.

I have a few clients and they pay very well - way more than any company is willing to pay. It is not 20 cpl, but very close. There are clinics and docs out there where you can work as an IC and make a good living and have a life.

I think all MTs should try and do this and take the middleman out of the picture! These MTSO's are greedy.

Hospitals and clinics will pay anywhere from 18 cpl to 25 cpl for transcription. If you come across one that doesn't or won't - move on and find one that does. There are many!

I say go get em!
