but being proficient on a computer does not make you an expert on their transcription software. I find it true that Dictaphone reps don't even really understand their software. All they ever did was say re-downloading/upgrading the program usually fixes everything, so that is what they did. It was only the help of another MT that kept me at TT with all the trouble I had getting up and going with the Dictaphone platform. I even rented a computer from TT to make sure that the software would be 100% compatible and there was nothing hidden on the computer causing it to lock up repeatedly, night after night.
