I never officially started with them but
I interviewed and accepted a position with them when I was working for MQ. A few days later, I was offered another position with another MTSO. I put DSG on hold for a week or 2 until I felt out the other MTSO. I ended up with the other MTSO. I just didn't get a good feel from the DSG recruiter and the numerous emails that followed. It seemed they were always backlogged and wanting everyone to do more, more, more. It just didn't feel very well organized.
Judging from the research I did on them a while back, the pay is on time and there is usually work, but sometimes the sound quality isn't all that good. Apparently, they get a lot of MQ overflow. I also found out there have 2 divisions - DSG 1 and DSG 2. From what I've read, DSG 2 seems to be the worse of the 2.
Again, I never worked for DSG because I just didn't get a good feel. I'm sure others who do work there could tell you better.
QT Medical is officially out of business. sm
The hospital I work for was just notified that they are closed as of today. Did they have a lot of MTs? I feel horrible for the MTs, not a good time of year to hear something like that.

I don't know if this is the right board to celebrate on but I am so excited! What a wonderful experience from the first email so far. Kim, the recruiter, was so nice and it really seems like my identity that MQ has tried to take away for the last year will be reinstated with Keystrokes. I hope it works out!!! First, if you were fired from Spheris, you just aren't too good! From your post, I can understand why you were fired. Learn to spell! I wouldn't go around telling everyone how you were fired either! part is the truth. There is a severe lack of QA at Diskriter. I just type my lines with or without blanks and just send them through because I was tired of the nasty emails I was getting from my supervisor about my blanks. That's all I will say because I do not know who reads this board

on here. I posted that I DO NOT own an MTSO but now I am a know-it-all and say things over and over. What the heck does that have to do with a post addressing the accusation that I am an MTSO owner. I work for a MTSO just like the rest of you. I happen to like my job, do well etc. etc.

I hope one of these days this business DOES go back to where it was where you ahve to work your butt off to get experience with ESLs and everything else. The job is weekends, holidays, whenever the work is there is you want to work from home for an MTSO! If not go into a hospital and work int he MR department.. You will still have to work weekends and holidays.

as I know it, the MT work coming out of India is sent to 3 doctors in India who sit in a room and proofread ALL India-MT work........saw a program on cable TV.....and this work is proofed before it comes back to the US.....

There is a lot of work out there with Keystrokes and others. MQ is losing accounts, and the other MTSOs are getting them. I am sure that they want to see quality and limit volume the first few days. I would if it were my company.

Don't be nervous. Same thing happened to me. They are spread pretty thin there, with people wearing a number of hats. They don't really have one person who does only recruiting that I'm aware of, unlike the other companies, hence the disconnect in getting back with people.

First off an MD would not be calling HR to
talk about an MT. They have a contact and if they had a problem with the work of an MT they would call their contact, not HR.

Not that anyone asked my opinion and I'm just adding my 2 cents after just finding this website 2 days ago. All bulletin boards are the same - they get real nasty, unfortunately.
Personally, I don't see how personal attacks on how someone left a former company is productive or conducive to learning on these bulletin boards. Posting people's personal info on whether they were fired or not should also not be allowed.

Is there any way to do a search on this board and come up with the more recent posts? Whenever I do a search, I come up with posts as of 7-8 months ago and then older, and I know there are posts from just a week ago. Am I doing something wrong, or is there no way to include the most recent posts (up to within the last few days) in a search. TIA.

I feel this is an appropriate section for this because it is aimed towards companies that outsource but also includes political views to try and influence the reader to look for companies that do not outsource. I believe it could also be posted on a separate page to cover the political view, but this is aimed to grab the reader's attention with the aim towards American companies that do not offshore.
