How awful would it be if you were actually applying where you already work. Definitely need to know the company, so you can research a little to see if they are legit or not before giving them your contact info. I have applied to a few that sounded really good, but used my hotmail account and kept personal info anonymous (name, phone, other email address) until I found out who they were, most were fine with it and if real companies they knew it was for my own safety.
