helpful QA and not rudeness, understanding when unable to work, great training and none of this "As I stated" BS. I have left more than one company simply due to QA rudeness. It is rampant out there. Also, for 10 years exp, I expect at least 9-10 cpgl, not 65-character. Now that is a ripoff IMO.

Amphion charges $10 per pay period/$20 per month for computer rental. HTH. 
yes relocation fees. And it is not 10-15/hour ... unless you're a slow transcriptionist
We're just trying to find out REALISTICALLY and honestly if there are transcriptionists that have moved or would move to an area for a job and new life.

cannot answer this question but as to your line rate, you could make 9 cents if you worked an afternoon or night shift with Transcend, but they are switching to voice recognition, so dont know what they are going to pay for editing!!! Try Webmedx, they pay for experience and apparently have work. You might make that much with a differential at amphion as well. try their website, they are in wisconsin.

I've never been asked to switch to a different shift. If you want a different account, talk to your supervisor and see if something else is available.

I interviewed with them and told there is, I believe, a $20 rental
fee for a year, but if you are still there at the end of a year employment they refund the rental fees.

I cannot seem to find any information on this...if I am paying my employer a monthly computer rental fee, is that amount taxable or nontaxable on my paycheck? TIA

EFD in Texas, New England Medical Transcription (NEMT) and a company called On-Call, although neither of these companies have had ads posted recently. Hope this helps.
Also, have you ever thought about working for a temp service. They usually pay weekly. I don't know where you are located and how many temporary services are in your area, but I think this would be worth a try, considering your circumstance.

You work when you want during the week. They ask you to commit to one weekend day.
Furthermore, I was on only one account, and worked that same account every day. The work was plentiful. Since I wasn't hopping around on various accounts, I customized everything and made a zillion macros. It was very good for money.
It was the best job I ever worked. I had to leave because I needed benefits.

Can anyone give info on companies that pay weekly? Leaving mine and kind of used to that in the ole budget now;-) Just got a call from one company that paid well but MTs were paid from the 1-15th on the 30th - and certainly would not work here.

You should be able to see weekly and monthly
below the counts for the day. My understanding is that each day is reset at midnight (facility server's local time), each week on Saturday at midnight, and each month on the last day of the month at midnight (again, facility's local time zone).
So you can see the current day, but only summaries for the previous week and month, not individual previous days.

Weekly ISR reports
I am getting frustrated with them scrutinizing my every keystroke with the weekly ISR reports and obscessing about whether I am using Ctl D or not, when the real problem lies with the poor quality of the ISR! If they are going to lower our pay, then they should provide us with a quality platform that justifies the low pay. And if we are going to be paid on a production basis, then provide us with the means to be productive! Why can't they get that? We will produce more, which means they will make more money. Common sense to me.

I just signed on with a company that pays weekly. Great people!! Very friendly. Paychecks mailed every Monday. No platform as of yet so a little slow in building up line count. But I'll stick around until they obtain a platform.
