In Reply to: Can anyone tell me anything about On-Time Transcription? - NEMT
I happened to have interviewed with this company when they took over the work and my transcription department was done away with. They visited us in person. They did no testing, and it seemed if you already worked for the account you could work for them. It seems that after they are awarded a contract they come in and try to hire the transcriptionists that just lost their jobs. The pay was around 8 cpl. Their max was 10 depending on the account. This was neurology, so I don't know what would constitute 10 cpl. This also was a year and 3 months ago. I know with Emdat you do not use a foot pedal and that takes some getting used to. Luckily I found an IC job with a local ortho group that pays a lot better than On Time so I did not hire with them. If you are REALLY interested I do know someone who did and I could probably get her to get in touch with you if she agrees.
