know what you mean, in case you get the usual flaming posts on being selfish, etc. This year for me was the very first time I ever got holiday wishes from my new job, and it really meant a lot to me. It had been over a decade since I had received a card, so I know how you feel when you are not thought ot. Sorry.

Bummer
Wow. I start my shift at 1 a.m. every day with this site, to brighten my day and jumpstart it.
Why load a bunch of negativity on this board? It seems that this poster needs to give those who read this a copay for therapy. No offense but this poster's self-righteous attitude is really turning me off and not a good start to my day.
BTW: Not to tell my age, but I have been in the business 27 years, have used carbon paper with doctors dictating standing next to me on manual typewriter. I have served as regional manager of a district for a well-known and respected service and have been a hospital Transcriptionist for many years. Just to let you all know who does not approve of such a negative post. IMHO I am glad to forget it and move on to transcribing today.
Oh, that's a bummer, sorry!!!...sm
maybe you could give an e-mail address in addition to cell number since you may not be able to have the cell going all the time and as long as you have internet service or a friend with it, you can check? Things happen to all of us, so please don't beat yourself up. I do believe things happen for a reason. Maybe she will even be able to get you a better job than this one?
As far as not being able to pay the bill, maybe it was just part of what was meant to be? Honey it got so bad at the beginning of this year at my house, Peter signed out a warrant on Paul, had the popo out lookin for him cause he figured all he had been robbed was not gonna get paid back ever, much less any time soon. Well they are friends again now, but it was a rough few months!! Then things settled down, got a decent income tax refund and paid some stuff off, and we actually got in better shape than before, happened for a reason.
Just in case somebody is reading this and doesn't get my feeble attempt at humor, the expression is robbing Peter to pay Paul.
bummer...
Wouldn't even have to pay those people. Use all that dictation for training purposes.
