Quarterly bonuses
Are the quarterly bonuses still being offered for SE's and what about the SE's who have been here for years??
SE's still get quarterly bonuses
I still get quarterly bonuses as an SE..I also have gotten extra for tier work. I dont know what that is all about, I havent asked (dont like dealing with the office much)..What I think, however, is as a part timer, if I do more than 6,000 lines/pay period, I guess I move to a higher tier. I got approximately $30.00 extra a few pay checks ago. It was listed on my pay stub.
Sandy used to be the recruiter for Proscript. Is Proscript now Opti-Script, name change?
Just curious..
Proscript...does anyone know if they have work...sm
and do they hire part-time status? TIA
Does anyone work for Proscript?
If so, how are they to work for as far as pay, benefits, accounts, anything.
Anyone work for ProScript here?
Was wondering if you could give me a general range of pay and how you like the platform. Are you able to schedule your own time to work? Any part-time positions? TIA for any and all info, good or bad
Does anyone work for ProScript? (sm)
Any information will be appreciated. I will e-mail if someone replies and doesn't want to post info here. TIA.
Proscript - Anyone work for them?
I need to know the good, the bad, and the ugly about this company because they just offered me a VR job.
Thanks in advance
Are some of their production bonuses tied to the amount of work to QA. I wasnt sure about that. I
think that must be a different bonus.
If you work for DR they send a form letter to all employees about bonuses.sm
If you work for them and are eligle, they send a form letter out letting everyone know how it was figured.
YEE GADS the old bitty's are out today.
I work for Proscript now and am very happy. sm
They are very nice to us and value their employees, and they have the quarterly bonus like MQ had ($50 for 10,000 lines, etc.). They are an up and coming company that does not send to India.
old DDI'ers,anyone work for Proscript?
Just curious. Are there any old ddi people who have recently gone to work for Proscript (out of Sarasota, FL). If so, how is it? Do you enjoy it the way we enjoyed ddi? Thanks
Does anyone work for ProScript? I'd like to know about the platform, please sm
What Expanders does it support? It is difficult to maneuver in and get lines? I have an offer...
is proscript internet work or ld plan - tia - nm

I work full-time for Proscript..... sm
And I never run out of work, but I have 2 large hospitals as my primary accounts, and 3 clinics as my secondary - probably why I don't run out of work ever.
If you are considering full time employee-with-benefits status - a minimum of 11,000 lines per pay period.
If you need more info - please email me
Any MTs here work for Proscript, and how is your work load? NM

You don't have to pay quarterly though, you can pay
yearly, that's all I ever did as an IC anyway. I guess if you do it yearly you have to cough up more at one time.
Quarterly taxes
I think you just have to make up the difference come tax time. When I called H&R Block, they said the easiest way is to estimate your income and make 25% quarterly payments. So, that is what I will do. Your tax preparer can provide you with a quarterly schedule with dates and amounts, as well as remittance slips and addressed envelopes to make your payments.
HTH - K
I have never paid quarterly
Just pay on April 15th
Quarterly taxes are not always
an option. Sometimes they are a requirement. You should check with an accountant, but I had a personal experience during my early years of statutory employment status with MQ whereby I did not pay estimated quarterly taxes. Because of some legality, I ended up paying a penalty because according to the IRS I should have been able to predict that my estimated taxes were going to be more than the previous year and therefore I should have paid them ahead.
Again, check with your accountant on that, but I would strongly advise estimated quarterly tax payments.
Quarterly works best.
Take a look at what you paid last year per month, double it and total that and then divide that into 4 quarters and send it to the IRS so that you will have tax credits for your IC status at the end of the year. Call any accounting firm or look on the IRS website for the form. Estimated quartery payments. If not you will owe a boatload at the end of the year. Worst that happens is you get money back!
I understand that, we put in 40 percent quarterly and still had to pay
We dont end up paying for state or federal when we do it and I am an employee.. EVEN putting in 40% quarterly as an IC and taking out the deductions, we still owe.
I am saying - it doesnt work out well for *us*.
Are you paying quarterly taxes? nm
xx
If you're self-employed and don't pay quarterly,
xx
Would recommend paying quarterly, if
you owe too much at the end of the year there can be penalities. When I was just an IC, I set back about 25% of each check to handle my taxes. Now I work FT as an employee and have an IC and just have extra taxes withheld, so do not pay quarterly.
nice quarterly bonus makes up a lot
with Alltype. What you get offered for pay is how well you did on the test and what shift you plan to work.
quarterly bonus from company pool?
Anyone here work for a company that offers a quarterly bonus that comes from a pool set aside by the company and the transcribers who qualify for the bonus, split it at the end of the quarter? Just wondering, if any, are you bonus checks worth the hassle? Are they decent checks? Thanks for all replies.
NO BONUSES

Bonuses
You missed the point completely. This is a profitable MT service with over 600+ MTs. There is nothing thoughtful at all about sending an item that cost less than $4 (no exageration on that figure by the way), with no letter of recognition, no Happy Holidays, no nothing. It certainly sent a message to me of how much they valued the job I did this year for them. Furthermore I have gotten very inexpensive gifts in the past from both large and smaller MTSOs that were not expensive but thoughtful and totally appreciated, so please do not interpret this strictly as a money issue.
Bonuses
One very nice bonus from some local docs I take care of. One extremely tacky cheap bonus from my main employer. While I don't think anything is owed, and did not even expect anything, I am struggling with the fact that this was absolutely insulting.
bonuses
Once in a blue moon they will offer a bonus if an account is in severe backlog, but no regular incentive bonuses. They already pay pretty well, so I'm not too concerned about production bonuses.
Why would they pay bonuses when they don't pay OT?
Bonuses
Too many people such as you tend to feel they are ENTITLED to a bonus no matter what the economy is. You should be very thankful that you even have a job (even one you complain about at every opportunity) when so many people are so much less fortunate than yourself.
6-8.5 cpl. Don't know about bonuses or benefits. nm
s
Signon bonuses
I agree. There are so many MTs flooding the marketplace, they do not need to offer bonuses. (Sadly enough.)
SIGN-ON BONUSES
Not all companies that offer a sign-on bonus are bad news. Typically a company will offer a sign-on bonus if they are looking to fill positions quickly. A lot of times, this is interlinked with a new client/account go-live. The company wants to make sure they have enough MTs for the go-live. A sign-on bonus also draws more MTs to apply.
Thx. Do they have incentive or bonuses?
nm
Where did you read that about bonuses? nm
nm
More TransTech bonuses
More Transtech bonuses: If less than 10% of reports goes to QA, you get 1/4 cent to line 1.
Also - shift differential & weekend differential to line 1.
MDI Maryland -- Bonuses?
It was my understanding that MDI does not have production incentives or bonuses. However, when I looked at their website it says this:
. . . And we show it to you through appreciation, excellent pay, bonuses and, more importantly, respect for your work.
Does any MDI MT have any info concerning the bonuses? I would appreciate it.
Saying that bonuses for quality sm
and production along with working what are for a lot of people unpopular shifts should not be making up for not being paid for headers/footers if the MT is doing the work to get that information.
A bonus paid for other things (not sending to QA, working midnights or reaching very high line counts while doing the other 2 things) should not be replacing pay lost, it should be IN ADDITION.
No bonuses that I'm aware of - s/m
Only been there a couple of months, though. Schedule: You pick either a Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat schedule. You have a 24-hour window to make your daily line count. Minimum required line count is 700 lpd. Need a day off - just tell your supervisor.
Sign on bonuses
I got a job with WebmedX with a $250.00 sign on bonus. Then, they charged me $250.00 to use their equipment. I quit 2 months later. So much for the sign on bonus. Anyone actually get one?
Sign on bonuses
How do sign on bonuses work? Has anyone ever received one? I have seen a couple of companies say a $500 sign on bonus and was wondering, do you get this when you start or after you have been there a designated amount of time? Was just curious. TIA.
Shall we bet these managers are getting a bonus to do this. I bet so. Wonder how many bonuses they
will get when everyone quits or they lose all the accounts. Do you think these managers ever did transcription. Give me a break.
Anyone notice there seem to be less sign on bonuses out there? (sm)
I am assuming (and we all know what happens when we assume) that this is because so many of the MQ people are out looking to change jobs that the companies feel like they don't have to work so hard to attract people.
Any Christmas gifts/bonuses from...
Any Christmas bonuses or gifts from Futurenet Technology?
Referral bonuses not paid - that's NOT RIGHT. nm
Not right at all.
spheris incentives and bonuses.....
When I worked there, they did not offer actual monetary bonuses or incentives. I did get a drop in pay from $12.50 an hour to $10.50 an hour and never understood that one, especially being a four-star quality employee. BUT...when I worked there, they did, especially around Christmas and New Year's, offer such things as Home Depot cards, etc. It was almost like having your name drawn out of a hat or playing the lottery. If you were online when they were ready to pick a winner, you just might win that card. I won many, many times..very easy (and fun). They used to pay for spaces, but I don't remember them paying for headers and footers. Base pay was not that great and never a raise. I got the raise when they were Edix, but they dropped me back when it became Spheris. Hope that helps.
I get it. The MTs should give our MTSOs bonuses!
Ho! Ho! Ho! I feel so bad for ya.
I've been forgotten again. Oh, well. Too bad these bonuses
incentives, beach parties, and whatever else is going on at Transcend/MDI are only for their favorites. The only way we know about them is a message with the backlogs saying what a great incentive party they had the day before.
If they are going to reward their pets they need to keep it hush-hush when talking about it after the fact. So much for MT appreciation - a broken coffee cup and a calendar and a hint that you are not good enough to participate in their fun things.
