I recently saw an ad for a job and it said 9 cpl. Then on further investigation, I found that they take 25 lines off the top because of built in text (or so they said) and they wouldn't pay for spaces. Then I was told they are 54 hours behind. Right there made me wonder why they were 54 hours behind. Could it be that we dogs aren't eating that dogfood? So I played it awhile longer. I found that on some reports that the built in text was only 12 lines (the way they counted) and so I would be typing 13 lines for no pay. On top of that, the so called built in text needed to be tweaked so I would need to pay attention to that text and make it work for that report. Still not compensated. I told the MTSO that I would give it a try but not to be too optimistic about me staying since I could see the problems and it was no wonder they were 54 hours behind. Just my $.02 worth.
