He was born in the US, an Irish Catholic, and an expert in his field.
Last time we talked he told me how much he hated ASR, and said, I'm no transcriptionist. He totally gets what we do, so when you have someone clearly aware of what we do, that's just the icing on the cake. There are a lot of docs in my zip code, and I've talked to quite a few of them about the same thing, often times by accident.
He certainly wouldn't say, You look fat, skinny, or something of that nature. When there's something obvious, it doesn't need to be pointed out all the time, either. Every MT loves doing his work, too. I miss doing it.
Huge city, but very small world...!!
