I just tested with PRN Med Trans. They seem nice, from what I read on their website, and do not offshore, but I cannot find anything about them in the archives. Can anyone share? I have been writing and submitting my resume every where I can and also testing online many times, too. I just hope this leads somewhere soon. Until it does I am stuck with MDI/Transcend.

Looking for info on whether these are reliable companies, pay on time, platform ease, stable work, etc. Nothing in archives on KCS except one brief mention and seems there are a few different services with Stat in their names so looking for info on the one in San Jose, CA. Found one from a long time ago that seemed positive but looking for more current info, if possible. TIA! :)

ASAP Medical Trans - Same as Alliance/Documed in Tennessee
Don't be fooled. NOT a good payor. Pay consistently late, late, late. I believe she is trying to change the name since the word has been put out about Alliance and Documed. This has been going on for some time and should be stopped.

Because the company I worked for did a very bad thing and think they can get away with it by placing balme on others away from the facts at hand. And if they sign up here as a trans they can copy and paste the information - how do I know, because when I worked there they did it frequently.
I learned alot from the inside about trans companies - they need us, but at same time abuse their power over the work they assign. They think because we work for them, we arent as smart as them.

There are many posts here that have a bit more detail, and the usual going back and forth, seemingly harmless could be with someone you actually work for. It would be difficult to prove yes, but the attitudes towards others could get caught in themiddle with their employer thinking that your username is actually someone else. Just a heads up that the trans companies out there are not all as niave about these sites - instead of treating us right, they would rather watch here for anything said about them. You may not give details and good for you - but others may need to keep in mind that they do watch the sites.

It is funny how everyone feels when 3 letters are used they are initials, everbody's name means something to them, The letters CLK mean something to me, not necessarily initials, but I guess it could be. Besides, anybody can put anything they want into the name field. This forum has so many trans on here, to think that your employer would see it and then assume it was you - you must not have a good relationship with them- or they are one of the ones we all should watch out for. I just got the strangest E-mail offering me a job. It sounds like they are just starting out and looking for MTs to begin in about 2 weeks. They are out of NYC. I'm already with a company that promises to start me in 2 weeks on a new account and so far their practices are questionable. What is up with these companies? At this rate I can quit a company a week until I find the right match.

Which company has the best medical benefits?
I have been searching for the company with the best medical benefits. After I test with the company and get a job with benefits they always offer crap insurance and it is expensive! Is there such thing as good benefits while working from home? I have been an IC for the past 10 years and never opted for insurance with companies that do offer it with employee status. I have also checked into private insurance, but the deductibles seem high. Thanks for any help or advice!!!

I have worked for them for two years and love it. I have never had issues with them and there are a couple disgruntled employees on here that say bad things about them because they don't put up with people not being on when they should be (work has to get done, we are Acute Care for God's sakes)...I actually believe in them so much that I have taken on Marketing for them to get them more business. I love the management team and all seven girls that I have referred to them love it also (I keep in touch with them on a regular basis)...so for all of you out there that have bad stuff to say about them, you are welcome to your OPINION, but for you others, don't believe everything you hear...

you are lucky to have a company offer to mentor you. Take this opportunity and run with it. Learn all you can, and try to stay with them for one year. After that, you can apply elsewhere.

p.s. helpful hint is to by a cheap telephone book, A-Z type, and write all the new words and terms you hear in that book. This trick worked wonders for me 17 years ago.

having an attitude modification course? A co-worker of mine stated her supervisor did not like her attitude and assigned her to attitude modification, where she was mentored by someone for six months on changing her attitude. No, this wasn't me! LOL!
I never heard of such a thing. I was really shocked, but didn't want to press the issue with said co-worker since she might yell at me.
Has anyone ever heard of this? I would think it would just exist in the military or police department.
