Hopefully, they have fired the bad example of a recruiter that was on here and this one is legit. Please advise.
Phoenix Medcom- Another apply a few months back, ask to take a test and never heard back??
I applied a month or two ago, received an email from someone asking if I would take a test and said she was getting ready to go on vacation for a week, so I hurried and immediately and told her I'd love to take the test. I never heard back. I waiting thinking she went on vacation and would contact me when she got back to do the test but nothing...very strange..Just wondered if this happened to anyone else.
Has everyone heard back from Keystrokes yet regarding the email we received a while back?

Is this company on Long Island? I checked out their website and even tried calling once. Were you successful in contacting them? All i know is that the company is owned by some doctors.

but somehow with over 16 years of experience, I blew the test. I was soooo disappoionted and yet pretty stunned. I am by no means perfect but I haven't flunked a test in years. I expected it in my early years but not this far down the road. I was so confident and they will not tell you which part you did not pass and why so it really just blew my mind. I must have been in shock for like two hours after I got the email. Oh well, someone will want me....hopefully. I was thinking about OSi but I don't think I could take another rejection if I never heard back.

Bad any way you look at it. Their so called recruiter was so unorganized it was hilarious. Don't expect them to answer any of your questions. You'll get emails back IN BIG CAPITAL LETTERS that they are in, yet,another meeting. Funnier yet is that I received the same job offer twice, the second time at a lower rate. They don't even know who they're talking to!

It appears that there has been some recent confusion on the mtstars site. My apologies to all. We are a new company and have been relying on a recruiting agency to assist us with hiring MTs.

I will be having an interview with this company and am just wondering if anyone has worked there. They seem very nice, of course all companies are nice in the beginning. They are out of Florida and hire as IC at first then after 90 days you can choose to be employee.

Opinions please. We have established that Synthescribe and All American Transcription are ran by the
same CEO/COO..So, previously when I considered applying at Synthescribe, I was put off by the negative feedback left here so I didn't apply. Then, comes a new company, AATS, which we soon figured out was being started by the same person running Synthescribe. I am tempted to apply, but if it's the same CEO/COO, shouldn't I heed the warnings of the MTs who say not to do it. I'm confused. Part of me wonders if I shouldn't give them a try, but I think I'd be more apt to do that had it been a new company with different management. Something about a leopard not changing its spots....What's your opinion? Would you try it? Thanks

We all know from the MT recruiter yesterday that Synescribe and All American Transcription are tied
into together. I think Synthescribe had gotten so much of a bad rap on here that I am wondering if they went undercover or reinvented themselves as an All American MT. A lot of MTs were not applying with Synescribe because of its overseas affiliation. I could be wrong but this is my take on it. I think the recruiter was on here promoting this company or companies as basically one and the same. I'm sure there is a lot more to this story. All of it has turned me off to applying with Synescribe, All American or whatever they call themselves. Too Bizarre for me..along with that recruiter.

Never Heard Back
I sent a resume to Acetera, got a call back from a recruiter, who offered me a job and I accepted. They were supposed to get back to me regarding software, training, etc. and nothing at all.
Has anyone ever heard back from them? (sm)
Test is very difficult because of exceptionally poor audio quality. Try the 7-day Bytescribe free trial as ExpressScribe isn't good enough for these files.

Here is what I do and have always heard back.
I send in resume and will get response to please take their test and return it to them. Instead, I reply back that I would be more than happy to test but do not want to waste their valuable time grading my test if it is going to turn out we are not a good fit for each other and would they mind answering a few questions first. I then ask what is pay, is it hourly or cpl and if cpl how is line calculated. I ask if they have direct deposit and when would I get first check. I don't ask a bunch of questions, just the ones that to me will determine first and foremost if this is a company I am interested in. Have never not gotten answers to my questions and when I do get answers, if I am not interested, I send email thanking them for taking the time to answer but I don't think their company is what I am looking for and I am sure they will have no problem filling the position (even if I think there is no way in hell anyone in their right mind would work for them, lol.)

I heard back but only to ask me for my resume and that was on Thursday. I have not heard back from them since.

That was last February, though, and they have grown a lot and have gotten much busier since then. I don't think it would hurt at all to give them a call just to sort of touch base with them.

It never hurts to contact them and verify they got your information. Everyone I've dealt with there is very nice and never seemed bothered by or rude because of an inquiry. Good luck!
