There mentoring program is been helpful to me a whole lot, my mentors are just great and real helpful. I type clinic notes and get 8.5 cents a line. It is not to hard to reach the quota because there pretty easy to understand and not many ELS. I think if I typed what they call basic 4 hospital notes it would take me longer because those words are not familiar to me yet so am proably better off sticking with office notes. I can also get overtimes and bonus sometimes so all in all it has been a good experience. I can't compare the system to anything other company because it is by first job but it is by Dictaphone, I like it a whole lot. This is my first career and job out of high school and OSi gave me a chance to make something out of my life. And they told me I could try the QA department when I get finished with mentoring program because they need people there. I think that would be exciting to work in QA and feel like I am helping somebody else learn something. That is a big opportunity for a girl from the other side of the tracks as they say. And this is the most money I have every made. If it can work for me it can work for anybody. So I am look forward to work in QA when I get through with mentoring. If you have more questions just ask.
You can always give them a call and I know they would all be glad to talk to you if you have any question. Melody Barbee is the transcription director and Heather Ward is in charge of the mentoring program. Beth Spradling is in charge of training. So call one of these nice ladies. And best of lucks to you!!!1
