Webmedx fits that bill, great company, great benefits, great pay and always on time. NM
,
Great little company..I worked there for a short time, IC, and pay always on time, great owner too!
I had good dictators, they use FTP, and I had a 12-hour window to return the work.
MDI-Maryland is an excellent company, pay on time all the time, great line rate.
I left also because I went out and got my own client(s).
They are very nice people.
The only negative I can think of were the e-mails from the owner say work, work, work, we are out of TAT.
Other than that, which is very minor, it was a good experience.
I've never clocked in/out, great company to work for.

Some company lists have been around a long time, so lots of places
s
Started small; great company. Rapid growth; not so great company
First year I was there was like heaven. Then the big growth spurt when they hired managers from another company (that I had run away from before because of their bad management) and let them kind of take over. Although I have no proof it was as though I got 'bumped' by these new people when they came in and I lost a good account, good manager, etc. My paycheck went down every month lower and lower, and it became harder and harder to make my minimal lines. Having any kind of advocate was nonexistent.
It depends on you and what kind of MT you are. Seems to me there are pretty much 2 types...
Sports like basketball where you have the pros who play with finesse, and then you have street players who think it is all about physical strength, period. More and more the physical strength is winning but the art of the game gets lost more and more...
As in this country where there are almost 2 sides now, those with intellect and thoughtfulness, and those who think the only way to be strong and be a leader is to beat up everyone who does not agree with you...and force your will on others.
Suffice it to say in my opinion WMX changed its philosophy of the way it treated employees and lost its heart when it grew, and it was literally almost overnight...
If you are a mass producer who has no care of what it takes to make money, if you are a 'street fighter' then it would probably be for you because you WILL have to fight for everything. Fight for the right account, fight for lines, fight to be treated fairly, etc. If you appreciate MTing for the art of MTing or have any kind of joy for the profession, my guess is you will not make it there very long...
This is happening all throughout the what used to be called profession. Seems to happening all through everything these days. Humanity and heart are being pushed down to the bottom...
but a great post - my company gets bashed all the time too.

Even the long time Cymed recruiter jumped and went to another Nashville company.
i'm totally amazed they are still running but i feel an implosion any day now.
DSG is a great company, pay on time, nice management, incentive, but SM
occasionally work load is an issue depending on shift and account but if you're willing to be flexible, you should be okay.
I've been with the company almost 10 years. I know the truth. Hawaii was a company-paid vacation.
.
i've worked for MQ for a long time and never got a raise
nm
Um, I specifcally said I've been there long time so wasn't sure about sm
the starting PTO; wasn't trying to pretty anything up. As for BCBS and dental - personally where I live, it is a great plan. I'll stick to my guns on that. As for the lower deductible last year, did you not join the BCBS health calls to discuss WHY that happened?
Small company GREAT COMPANY
Axolotl is a WONDERFUL company with great benefits and competitive pay. We have maybe 100 MTs but are growing rapidly.
Nope...MDI-MD for a long time as well and I have a schedule I have to follow! You've got it made
Great company, great boss, great account!!!nm
x
You are pathetic! I have a great life, loving family, work for a great company.
You might want to fix that.
You really don't have to shout (angry person), but yes you are wrong!!
That is my last word to you!
I will add that getting a great pay check every other Friday from Medware really puts a huge smile on my face.
It's a great company -- lots of work and great pay. sm
Web site is www.mditrans.net. If you need anymore info, feel free to ask.
AXOLOTL - A GREAT COMPANY WITH GREAT INSURANCE
Axolotl has AWESOME, AFFORDABLE insurance. Family plan medical and dental costs a little over $300.00 MONTHLY. They also pay for family plan vision in its entirety. STD, LTD, 401K with match and flex spending account, great PTO and HOLIDAY pay. OH and paid downtime in the case you run out of work, which doesn't happen often!!!
Great company, great boss....
I use to work there. The dictators on my account were really good. They use Emdat/Inscribe. Pay on 1st and 15th by direct deposit.
I have been with my company a long-sm
time and every once in a while I am asked if I know someone or their work. I answer honestly and to tell you the truth I have said on a few occasions that someone couldn't keep to a schedule when I worked with them, did sloppy work, turned in bad work, etc. if I had that experience with them.
I don't think there is a list, but at times people may or may not receive a job offer based on that kind of situation. I have worked at a number of companies over the years and if they've been MTing for long enough, I either have worked with them in the past or know their names from the grapevine.
How long had you worked for the company? sm
I feel like a dolt for not doing any research on this company before beginning to work for them. I was already a bit apprehensive because they do not have direct deposit. Had you worked for them long before the problem with the paychecks? My feeling is, first check they miss, I'm outta here, but that does not compensate for the money already lost. :(
Thanks!
As long as a company is offshoring
work, they are taking away jobs from Americans. You can try to dress it up any way you want...offshoring is never a good thing for Americans.
I would rather work for a company who has to lay off employees due to tough economic times than to work for a company that offshores work. If the companies that are laying off were traitors like Transcend, MQ and others...they would probably not be laying ppl off because they would be padding their bottom line by paying a penny a line to someone in another country.
The companies who are loyal to US MTs will soon no longer exist because they won't be able to compete with all the traitor companies (Transcend, MQ, etc) who are able to offer clients lower rates because they have offshore ppl working for much less the US MTs.
This industry is going straight to hell. This is why I will soon be leaving Transcend and this industry altogether.
When my company merged not too long ago,
in the beginning nothing changed. It would be impossible to suddenly change things overnight, and the dust needed to settle.
So we still worked as if we were with our old company. Same accounts, same software, same management, and paychecks had the same old company logo on them.
Eventually we all signed something - I don't even remember what it was, but nothing, obviously, that made any kind of an impression on me.
We eventually changed insurance companies - several times. Each time, the coverage shrinks, and the co-payments grow.
We had a few teleconferences in which the new owner spoke of the new company, and the changes we could expect in the future. (One was that we could expect to make more money on their new software. That didn't happen).
Bit by bit, changes were made in things like the software we used (many changes, as time went by). Changes in the website, a few changes in management at a time. They weren't all let go en masse, but one by one, our wonderful managers 'left the company'. Different QA people, finally a different logo on the checks, etc.
They changed from paying by the keystroke, to paying by the line. I was suspicious of that, but checked the new method against the old, and the pay was the same. Until, of course, they eventually 're-tiered' everyone, and cut everyone's pay - MTs, VR people, and QA.
We did get emails from the new company, but not that many, just when needed. I don't remembe4 how long we waited before we heard anything, but I don't think it was very long. Most of our information at first came through teleconferences, and through our immediate supervisors. I would say the supervisors are the ones who provide us with 90% of our information.
We lost an account or two, gained an account or two, so I didn't see any change in workload, other than one of the accounts lost had been mine, so I had to move on to something different. I don't like working for a company that offshores, but although my eyes are peeled for something different, I do have to keep working while I look.
Some people left immediately, others later on, and of course, new people have been hired. I do notice a slightly higher amount of ESLs and less-desirable work, as I'm sure the better work is going offshore. The software changes were like any software changes I've ever experienced in MT. They're all the same, really, just a few different buttons to push. Each has it's pros and cons. I personally liked the simplicity of the old software - you have to jump through more hoops to do simple things like add addresses for carbon copies. Eventually, things actually levelled out a bit, and I was starting to increase my lines on it, when we were hit with a substantial reduction in pay with the 're-tiering'. I haven't been able to overcome that obstacle to financial security, and so my search for either a 2nd job, or a new one altogether, has taken on a new urgency.
It's impossible to tell what new changes this place will throw at us in the future. It's been a quiet summer, but I suspect more changes will thrown at us before too long. I wish I could say I'm optimistic about the future, but these days that's pretty hard to do.
My best advice is to at the very least, have a 'Plan-B' in mind in case things at the new place don't go the way you need them to in order to survive. I would say don't panic or make any rash decisions about what to do next. Whenever I've done that in the past, I've regretted my hasty move. But be vigilant in keeping abreast of changes as they happen, research what you can, and check their website often for changes. Often the first news of change goes to the clients, not the MTs, who are always the last to know everything. And don't let your guard down, either. Big companies are always out for themselves, not the employee.
Why not? It is either this company, MQ (most of the time) or another company.
If you don't like it, don't read. That simple.
So it is ok to attack a company once you leave as long as
you do not hurt your paycheck while working for them? That is childish and immature. We are supposed to be professionals. If there is a true problem, an MT should post about it but the unnecessary nastiness on this board goes above and beyond any sense of reason.
Instead of actual warnings, these bashers take it to extremes that make others ignore their constant nastiness.
Meant to say, I would not work for that company. A long day and still going!!

Great company!
I am very happy working for MDI. I have worked for them full time for a few years and part time before that. It is a great company to me and it's very easy for me to be able to call and talk to my TL or anyone above her if I have an problems/concerns/questions. There are lots of negative postings about them on this site, but have not had the bad experiences that they have had. My experience has been nothing but positive!!!!
Great company! (sm)
Good pay, good accounts, flexibility, best MTSO I have ever worked for in my 20 years as an MT. Just started with them a little over a month ago, & couldn't be happier! IC status only, though, but that's not a problem for me. Anything else I can tell you, just let me know
They are a great company!
QA'd their work for a short while, but it was a second job and couldn't keep up working 2 jobs, so quit at JLG. They are a small, family-like company. The owner is an MT and has had offers to sell out to the big boys. but she loves her company and her employees and will not sell out. If you have a chance to work for them, you will not be sorry!
GREAT company...sm
They are friendly staff as stated, pay is good, but no benefits. But the pay, plenty of available work, and understanding of the company makes up for lack of benefits. I have had family illness over the past several months and they have been understanding. I feel bad for not being as dependable as I was when I first started, but they have really hung in there for me, so I am hoping to return the favor and help them out as much as I can. GREAT company. You cannot go wrong. I was thinking about looking for another job because they have no benefits, but they are just too good to risk that. So, never again, will I even think about that. You will not go wrong with them. I have been with them almost one year and they are as nice as they were from the beginning!
Great company.
I actually wanted to work for them, but I failed their online quiz. The question lines and answer boxes were so close together, I am sure I marked the wrong boxes just because it was impossible to differentiate one question from another. I have been an MT for 18 years. I knew the answers to every one of those questions, except for maybe 1 or 2 I was confused on. I don't know if it was timed or not. If it was timed, maybe that is why I failed. I did the test in between phone calls. Good luck with that!
Great company
I have worked with them since the company started and they have been GREAT!! I can give you names of LOTS of other MTs that agree.
you will see bad listings about them on here but think about the people that it is from--fired and mad people.
AccuStat pays on time and the people are just great to work with.....I can't express that enough!!!
great company
AccuStat is a great company in my opinion. They know your name and do not treat you like a number. Their pay is on time. Their managers are great and their accounts are good too. They are simply a great company to work for.
TRS seems to be a great company
I was slated to start with them. I accepted the position and then decided not to go with them because I could not afford to live with the salary offered. I spoke with Kathy after I decided not to take the position and she seems very honest, polite, and interested in the MTs. I did not have a bad experience, I just declined the position because I could not afford to live with the salary offered.
Great company
I have been with Meridian since October. I get wonderful feedback, great QA people. Pay is every 2 weeks and very fair. I am on MedRite and I love it here.
They are a great company sm
Super flexible scheduling, very nice people to work for, and I always have work. I use EX Text, and I personally do about 7000 lines every two weeks. I do not remember what the line requirement is. I do not know if they are hiring, but I am extremely happy here.
Great company.
They are very employee friendly. I know they are going through some management changes, but show me a company that does not. The owner is an excellent person to work for and takes care of his employees as long as you do what is asked. I would recommend it highly if you are offered a position!!
Great company
I have also been there several years. No complaints.
Good QA people. Steady work.
Pay on time. Good people to work with and to work for. I have been to their office and met all the QA people. Have met the owner personally.
great company
s
This a great company. What is the sm
use of saying run, run without giving any other info? It's a waste of a read. I worked for TN and they are wonderful people and always paid on time. The best place I have ever worked. I left due to health reasons.
Great company
I have been with them since March, they are a very fair and honest company to work for. I have had no problems with them. Absolutely no complaints here
DSG great company
DSG is a great company to work for--I have been there for a couple years...I believe it must be one of the best!
Great company....
and NO I am NOT management, or recruiting, or anything like that. I am an MT....been working for them for quite awhile. They are an excellent fit for me.
Lots of ESLs - yes. IC only - I think so; check with them about it though. Direct Deposit - always correct and always on time. Platform - it is their own and is Word based, so if you are familiar with Word you would be all set. Managers are very kind and helpful, answer questions almost immediately. QA - I have seen some posts on this board that were negative about their QA but I really dont have much contact with QA. I am familiar with my accounts, I do my work, and they leave me alone and put my paycheck in my checking account every other week. I also like that they do not beg and plead and hound us to death to get work done when it gets backed up. Yes, they let us know; yes, they send out emails; yes, they say they STILL need help; but there are no phone calls or IMs or *guilt*. It is just - if you can help, please do, we need you. Also, the workflow group are great. They seem to have a handle on their job and do it well.
But no company is perfect.....so......what would be the cons to FN? Running low on work. This seems to happen when they are ready to take on new accounts. It SEEMS that they hire in anticipation of new accounts and put new hires on present accounts until the new accounts start dictating. Work may be low at those times. BUT THIS IS ONLY MY IDEA...I dont know if that is what actually happens. I think the last time I was low on work was, maybe last Spring.
Also, the work seems to get slow the weekend before we turn in our invoices. I think MTs are trying to get in their lines for the pay period. I dont know for sure, of course, but that is MY GUESS. So what I do is make sure I get my lines in the Friday before the weekend before invoices so that is there is little work that Saturday and Sunday, I can take time off and not sweat it.
It works for me.
What a great company DRC was?
Do you really think they care about the lowly MT who is so offended? Doubt it. They're laughing all the way to the bank baby!
Great company
I do all ER reports for KS, and I average anywhere between 2000 and 2500 lines a day. I have only been there for about a month, but I have never run out of work, but they gave me a second ER account in case I ever do. Each account uses a different platform. Mine uses ExText, and I love it. Other accounts require a C-phone. As far as ESLs, every account is different, but there is only one on mine, and he is not even that bad. I would have no problem recommending this company to anyone. Good luck.
Great Company
Great company. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Flexible scheduling. Emdat is great!!!!! Pay on time all the time. Wonderful company.
great company
This is a great company to work for. Emdat is very easy and so convenient for working. Pay on time, direct deposit and boss is so nice and helpful. Work is good and plentiful most all days. good luck
Yes, MDI-MD is a great company, but
they do require you schedule some time on the weekends.
GREAT COMPANY
I work for Axolotl. I have been employed with them for 18 months. I don't know if they are hiring PT but they are definitely hiring FT.
They have EXCELLENT benefits, which includes health insurance, dental insurance and vision for around $300.00 month FAMILY. They have other GREAT benefits as well.
I think it's a great company,
and the new account I'm on is a winner. I've been there about 9 months.
Great company
I currently work there and love my job. They are great people to work for and the work is steady. Love my accounts. Pay is 0.8 cents a line.
