Good luck with your interview! The best advice I was given before being hired was to communicate.

In Reply to: Thanks, I actually have an interview in the morning. nm - mom
I had a few vacations planned, had my son about to go off to college and wanted to give notice to my employer. They worked with me and were very easy to work with. I think they send out that letter to weed out those who do not want to work hard, cannot work hard for one reason or another or for those looking for specifics that they do not offer (i.e. IC status).
Good luck!

Good luck on your interview. sm
They are great company and actually have been around a long time. Just be prepared to work the schedule that you give them. Management is great and pay is on time. Hope this sheds some light.
good luck with interview! s/m
Paychecks always accurate and correct. People are pleasant and helpful.
I usually have enough work to keep me busy and get asked to work extra at times, but I am on the TRS side of things, so my experience may be different then others.
No PT bennies. Easy interview, but don't remember details. Good luck. NM

Good advice, and advice that I'm giving real thought to ...
If I had known that they offshored before I accepted employment with them I never would have gone there to work. I've been here long enough now though to not want to lose my benefits.
Still ... making a DECENT PAYCHECK and making a living without being stressed out over the type of work that I'm doing is just as important as good benefits.
If you have been hired by Medware all of that was in your offer AND discussed in your interview.
You would also know if you were hired on as PT or FT.
BUT anyway....anything over 32 hours is considered FT with benefits. They also DO hire PT employees and they have a very good PTO package, plus personal days. Pay days are every other Friday.
Like I said before, IF you are a new hire, all of this would have been in your offer.
Webmedx hires some ICs. Good company. So sorry for your loss. Good luck!

Things are not good there now. Think only hiring for 2nd and 3rd shiifts. Good luck. nmx

I just had a good interview
and will take the job offered. I have an MT friend that has worked for them in the past. She had no problems at all, said it was a great company.
Good luck and good nerves. sm
I hope you do well. I would rather have a root canal than drive a bus around with the rowdy kids around here, my gosh, they get in fights all the time, the bus driver has to return the bus to school. You are probably from a better area, but they would have to pay me big, big money. Good luck to you though.
Good for you! I have done that several times......Good luck to you. nm

Good advice above
So right on regarding the type of work you do for the pay. There is much to consider, but will they tell you the truth about what type of work you will get for 7.5 or 8 cpl? Am looking for a change because of being in a pool with hundreds of doctors that I can't make macros for or expanders. Very frustrated. And then there is the voice thing.....
That's very good advice. sm
I know when the company I had worked a very long time for sold to MQ, everything changed and not for the better. They took a really great company and ruined it. It seems to happen that way. The only one looking out for you is you.
Good advice
That helps. I will look into that. Thanks for looking out for the newbies.
Good advice -
NM
Thanks -- very good advice sm
That is good advice, so thank you.
One more question -- have you ever been sorry about leaving? I have always had the stick it out and it may get better attitude, but things just keep getting worse, my pay keeps going down, even though I am working much harder. I have a fear of getting a new job that turns out even worse.
Not sure I have anything to add to the good advice you have already been given ... sm
But my doggie is my baby .. to give her up for a job .. never ... to give her up if I somehow became unable to care for, I'd do because it was good for her .... but NEVER let go of things in your personal life that you love. One time I had a great job -- 11.5 cpl -- but my boss told me my job should be more important than family. So, right or wrong, I said goodbye. Unfortunately, my mom passed, so I don't have the family either, but looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. You can always find another job .. you can never get another mom (or other thing you care for .. fill in the blank ).
Good luck to you .. :-)
good advice
Well said!!
VERY good advice
In any event, it is over and now I am wiser and never going to spend more than 8 hours on an acct for anyone ever. MTSOs simply do not appreciate it or remember it.
Now THAT is good advice. It's a shame to say it, but skill, loyalty, seniority, etc. - none of these things matter in this business anymore. And I can tell you from direct experience, when your company gets swallowed up, NO ONE at the new company gives a rat's a$$ how many years or how much seniority you might have had at your prior position. It's not even a consideration. The 1-year girl, the 5-year girl, and the 20-year girl - To them, we're all the same.
Good advice!
Only downside sometimes of being female in this industry is we can get too emotional and take everything personal - I know so, as I do it constantly.Business is ultimately business, and we should all try to look to the future and not over analyze this and kick owners to the curb, etc.
I don’t think your advice is very good
Stand up and demand what you want? People now are hanging onto jobs. I in the past was exactly where they are. Bad advice, especially when you are not in the same boat. I think some let you know that.
Have had good luck with them since Feb.
I was told about a horror story that went on between them and one MT when I was brought on. Nothing even close has happend to me or another MT that I talk to from Medscript. Perhaps it was a two way horror story for the owner and the MT? I will post an email address if anyone has specific questions I can try to help.
Good luck to you
I worked for MQ for years, and if you want ANYTHING you have to continuously harass "the higher ups." Remember, it is your money, and it is owed to you, don't let up on them or you will get NOTHING! Management sucks at MQ.
Sorry, I do not. Good luck!

GOOD LUCK!
Insurance costs are just outrageous nowadays--I can hardly afford it, and the costs seem to increase with every new enrollment period.
Good luck
No problemo! Best of luck to you!
Good luck!!!! They don't even pay
let alone spaces!!! They blowing smoke up, well, you know where!!!!
Good luck.
Ditto. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Could be! Let us know how it goes and good luck!
.
Good luck to you then...
I just saw above where you had worked for DSG. That was another I had considered in the past but saw quite a bit of negative at one time. May I ask why you left DSG?
Thanks!
Good luck to you as well. sm
Bascially DSG wasn't willing to pay me what they thought I was worth, which sounds stupid, but it's true. Everything else except for the pay was perfect. I loved working there, and I recommend them. They have had some growing pains in the past, but things have leveled out quite a bit. I wish you the best.
Good Luck...let us know what happens with Lou..nm
:)
Good luck
I was offered the same deal but there was no work when I started. Nada, nothing. I had 9 jobs for an entire week and was told I couldn't get a backup because I wasn't off of 100% QA, and couldn't come off 100% QA because there was no work!!! When I left, they did NOT pay the training bonus as promised and I reported them to the Attorney General.
Don't know anything about them but good luck!!
:)
That's up to you. Good luck! :) nm
.
yep, me too.....good luck to you! :)
Good luck to you too!!

Your welcome and good luck.....nm

Good luck! sm
Bet it is the same company I worked for. If it is, you will never get it. Was told my check was in the mail 10 months ago, and never received it. I had my own equipment so there was nothing to return.
Good luck on this one
nm
I did not have good luck!
Jim, the hiring manager, was supposed to send me all of the new hire papers, etc. No word from him. I e-mailed him constantly and called him constantly to find out where the papers were and when I was going to start. He totally ignored me. I call that very unprofessional. That should tell you something about the company. There seems to be a big turnover because they are always constantly hiring.
Well good luck with that one. I will not
:(
KS's GOOD LUCK!!
I went into that totally blind and naive.....never again...lets face it...if your willing to put forth all your effort looking up things that the company should have referenced you with before they threw you into a contract....that tends to leave a bitter taste in your mouth!
Good luck!
nm
Good Luck!
I, too, love working at a company that refuses to offshore their work. I am very happy there. I actually feel like I am valued as an employee. I hope all goes well for you and that you are hired by Keystrokes!
Good Luck!
nm
Good luck
I wish you all the luck in the world with the new company, I left QT a few months ago and went to work for them but only lasted about a month, continually switching accounts, software was pathetic, just do not expect to make anywhere near what you did at QT, my line count was actually about 60% of what it was with QT and my line rate was less, went for hte benefits but did not stay
Good luck to us both then!
nm
Good luck !!!
Good Luck to you
Congratulations on getting out of the evil place. You will be happier anywhere else!
Good luck with that......!! nm
