I used 'gypped' sometimes, without any malice towards gypsies, which this word traces back to.
Or the idiom, 'like nobody's business'. That popped out of my mouth one night at dinner with bunch of Germans & Austrians. They asked what that meant, and I had to admit I had no idea, really.
