I've seen eScription at its very best; with the right group of dictators, every little nuance perfected, an essentially read-and-upload job. It's frightening in its perfection (yes, folks, even on numbered lists; it's all in how the clinician dictates the list that makes the difference in a perfectly-numbered list being dropped into the draft and that dreadul mess that sometimes comes out instead that can take forever to clean up).
Yes, I can see where in 5 years or less when all of these platforms are up to par with eScription that only a very minimal skeleton MT crew would be required.
I wanted to try my hand at legal transcription, but I suspect that, too, will head in the same direction.
