From what I know

the pay period until you actually get paid seems to be about a 1 month lag time.  They told me this up front with a printed out sheet of pay period ending/time you will be paid.  Is it possible that your friend just hasn't waited long enough?

I really hope this isn't the case with TTD.  I recently started there and seeing your message makes me a bit wary.  So far I really like the platform and the account, but I don't like receiving all the negative e-mail.  It is sent in a blanket note to all MTs, rather than the individual offenders, it seems.  I haven't quite made up my mind about TTD yet.

One e-mail in particular ranted and raved on a tirade that MTs are expendable and will be replaced if they don't work their shifts.  It could have been worded more professionally, instead of attack PMS mode.

That is a BIG turn-off.  I don't care to be scolded like a child.  I'm an adult.  Treat me with dignity and respect.  I have worked every shift I stated I would and kept my word.  If I keep on receiving those nasty grams, TTD will be replaced with a different service. 

Furthermore, if I am not paid, there will be hell to pay (can you say district attorney, state attorney general's office, BBB, FTC and IRS/State Tax Board and any other cavalry/artillery I can bring in).  Until then, I give them the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe your friend needs to wait for the next pay cycle and see what happens.
