Lots of info on all in the archives.
SS is a horrible company. They are constantly hiring and new accounts isn't the reason. I don't think Keystrokes hires for PT.
Search the archives, lots of info on them.
Lots of info in the archives. Seems to be a mass
exodus going on.
Check the archives and more recent posts. Lots of info there.

Opinions on Focus. Please. I read all archives. Please most recent info. Thanks. NM

She has had time to frequent these boards with every company SM
she has been with. It is a miracle she has ever gotten anything done.
They offshore. They lie. They have enormous turnover.
Mainly because people don't heed the warnings and work for them anyway and then end up quitting right away because the warnings were right.
They employ somewhere around 900 American MTs and around 3800 Indian MTs. They had a big shake up back in may and fired a bunch of QA people and some management people as well. My facts are straight as I got it straight from the horses' mouths.
Lots and lots of recent stuff in archives.
Lots and lots of posts in the archives.
High turnover rate with good reason; email for info.

Look through the archives. Lots about them, all bad. nm

Lots in archives on TRS, nothing good. Don't know
anything about All-type, but I have seen them mentioned so info is in archives too.
Lots of stuff about them in the archives, none of it
good. I don't have your answers, but they offshore big time.
Found lots in archives. Thanks though!

Lots of information in the archives, but I
think the general concensus is Spheris isn't a good company.
They're great; lots in the archives
Yeah, you get bonuses based on your lines per hour rate, for all lines, not just the extra ones. The past few months I've been able to add 2 cents to my line rate based on the bonuses. Insurance is about $50 out of my paycheck for just me.
Lots of stuff in archives; go to the page numbers at the bottom, hit Ctrl-F for find and type in WebMedX.
The only possible negative I can think of is ESLs and slightly more difficult work, but if you passed their test, you should be fine. You're mostly on the same accounts, so you get used to them.
Check the archives. Lots about them recently.
I wouldn't bother. They can't get you anything better than you can get yourself. They are basically recruiters who get paid if you are hired, but they don't have a whole bunch of companies so they aren't really weeding them out for you.
Check the archives, lots on them. Indian run. nm
There is lots of current information in the archives.
They offshore, but they don't want you to know that.
Lots of stuff in the archives, but it is a horrible
company. Some of the worst ESLs, sound quality horrible at least on some accounts, frequent turnover. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Lots of posts in archives stating that it is
a Indian run company. Supposedly they have a U.S. storefront office in MA. Turnover is very high, which is why they constantly have ads running. The only good thing I've ever heard about them is they will hire newbies. They pretty much have to because an experienced MT would not want to work for them unless they couldn't find a job elsewhere.
They offshore. Lots of posts about
their poor or lack of communication. Their pay scale is weird, depends on shift, year's experience, CMT, account, etc. I talked with 2 different people when interviewing, recruiter was not honest with me about the account they wanted to put me on, thankfully team leader was. I had previously worked on that account with another company and it was a horrible account. I can't remember if they had more than employee status or if they provide computer, but if you look at their ads on the job boards it should say.
I was told platform was DocQScribe and also WebCorrect was mentioned. Never used them so don't know much about them, but I haven't heard good things about either. Each report had 3 files, 2 of which are not voice files, but supposedly they compensate you 3 (?) lines for each report. Sounds like a pain to me.
They offshore, lots of comments lately about
disorganized they are, keep changing how they pay as far as for lines, big deducts for errors, etc. The owner is offering a $2500 sign on bonus, which is a red flag. She seemed very nice (I was offered an MT position and later a QA position, both of which I declined), but I really haven't heard anything good about the company otherwise.
More and more companies offshore. Lots of them
say they don't, but they do. It is getting harder and harder to find a company that doesn't offshore, whether it be to India, the Phillipines, or Trinidad. If you have children to feed and a mortgage to pay you HAVE to work. Unless you've figured out a way to get the bills paid and not work you do what you have to do.
Yep. Like other poster said, lots in the archives. 99+% good feedback
on this company. Check the archives.
Is anyone happy at OSI in Douglasville, GA? Lots of negatives in archives - SM
but I also remember reading some positive comments. I am a CMT with 30 years of experience, and I need employee status with good, affordable health insurance. I so wish I could fine some place where I can stay until I retire, or at least a long, long time!
Lots of posts recently in the archives. Horrible
company
The archives are full of specifics. Lots of details that should take care of your "need". NM

Read the archives. Hardly a day goes by that
someone asks info on a company that was just discussed the day before. There are other forums besides this one too where you can get info on companies. Post your resume on the various job boards. There are companies that do not post ads but hire from the resumes. My current position I was hired from my resume and I have been offered a couple of other positions from companies who contacted me from my resume who did not post ads.
I work for a good company and honestly they are not hiring. Other MTs do seem to get upset when people will not tell them what company they work for. I don't believe they are afraid of losing their job to someone else (at least for the most part I don't), but they don't want the company to overhire. There are many posts on the boards about people not having work for days on end because companies are overhiring.
All you have to do is read the archives.
Overall it seems that most MTs are very happy. BTW I am not a TT MT.
Read through the archives. There have
been posts about them just above every well. They are an Indian run company.
Read the archives. I did QA and did not like it.

Read the archives and then RUN.

Why not read the archives?
If you read through the archives you'll see not
much good about this company, especially from people who refused to listen to the issues that others had and went to work for them anyway. They offshore big time, constant turnover. I wouldn't consider it.
They were actually one of the companies I was looking at until I read the archives..it seems
they haven't changed at all with the negative responses this time around. Thanks for the warnings!
