I did a google search and found their website. It does
appear that they are a new company and from what their website says sounds like they are pretty green. Copyright on the website is 2004, which doesn't necessarily mean anything. If you use the name and then online.com that is their website address. I don't recognize the name of the person listed, though that doesn't mean a whole lot either - LOL. My mom had a saying when my dad would some I didn't know that. She would say the library is full of things you don't know.
I found a bunch by inputting co. name in google box...sm
above and doing the search. Most of it looks to be new, too, within the last 2-3 months.

What I found (inside)
I jumped in 100% enthused to do VR with a good VR program, I really liked the resting of the wrists, etc. I learned the short cuts, implemented every help they gave but what I found was if I have to separate the headings on every op, take out sentences because the doctor changed his mind, add sentences or phrases, change phrases, add a, the, put in whole sentences that VR left out for no rhyme or reason, it didn't matter if I was just reading along and believe me this was a good VR program Ex-Text, I just couldn't double my lines and it drove me crazy all the changes I had to make. If I got 3 good dictations in a row, I found I would 3 bad dictations, and remember, new residents messed it all up all over again, all this for half pay.
I compared them side by side on another computer I finally got a job with another company for straight typing and found I could make $30 to $40 more a day straight typing, that is just average some days it was more. So, even thought I liked the concept of doubling my lines to make the same money I don't think it can happen consistently, for me anyway.
I know these companies going to it push it relentlessly and almost desperately. I don't know why, they can't be taking a 30 to 40 dollar hit per Transcriptionist a day, there has to be some advantage that they push it so hard.
One last thing, I went into VR determined to give it my all and I did, but I was alway 500 lines of doubling my lines. Some days it was just constant changing of things other days 2 out of 3 of changing but no days of not changing dumb things.
This is a true experience, approved by me.

Well, I already had one company I worked with earlier this year bought by an Indian company and basically left them. Now, we have OSi backed by this family who invests in US and INDIA, of course. I'm going to wait until after my next big vacation and then bye bye OSi.

Compensation not listed
Has anyone else ever emailed a company when they do not list their rate of compensation only to be ignored? This really irks me. Why can't they just list what they are offering so we don't have to waste our time? This really annoys me.

This is unbelievable and sad for those who feel there is no choice out there. As long as these are accepted they will continue to be offered. Emails to the company saying -
- 5-7 cents a line huh, what do you suppose this comes out as an hourly rate Shame on you this is slave labor.
I have also seen 4 cents a line for MTs, yes. Nonsense MTs, keep looking around..

means anything. The name Medical Records Corp was also connected to a company that was bought by MQ in the early days. That was a very good company. I can't find a website for this MRC out of MD, but I would be interested to hear anything you learn.
