matters that cross state lines and they do investigate fraud and financial crime, so they could get involved in this.  However, unless it was a wide-spread scam with big bucks and many victims, I doubt they would be very interested.

I "thought" that if you filed in your jurisdiction
naming her jurisdiction as the jurisdiction that handled it that courts would send it to that jurisdiction and have them handle it. It seems I did that once, but I could be wrong. I sure would not want to tell her wrong.

Anyhow, it is still possible to do that and not have to leave the house other than to get that paperwork to the proper court. Do not let her get away with it.


you can only file in the jurisdiction that the MTSO resides/operates in
not your own; if the MTSO is in another state, that is where you must file and appear for court.
