Did you click Settings/Files
There are about 20 different files types listed you need to click the box for the file types you are using, like wav, dss etc

I got it to start playin gon ExpressScribe
but they were both 8+ minutes long. No thanks.
BTW, ExpressScribe is incompatible with Vista...
I am passing up great jobs because of this....A new XP is on the way.
