ADHI has never advocated for MTs. It is more like a Ponzi scheme to enrich its officers with dues and threats of licensure. I know many fine MTs who make well over 50K a year and have nothing to do with ADHI. So I am with you, who needs them?

I agree with you EmmaMT...
Storing the records and reports electronically doesn't mean we don't have to transcribe them, just means they are stored in a program, rather than on shelves or boxes...so it may do away with file techs but not transcriptionists...as for voice recognition, I don't know about you guys but most of my doctors I type for can't even pronounce regular English words corretly, let alone medications, et cetera...so we are a long way off from any perfection with voice recognition...
