Sounds fishy...methinks
Seems like you could have contacted the IRS and told them the situation and provided bank statements that showed you didn’t get paid the 50,000. I would have done that. The banks send the IRS paperwork every year on what your interest is anyways, so they have a record of what your account has looked like. You paid the money for 50,000 you didn't get to the IRS instead? That seems odd to me. Who would do that? I would call the IRS and tell them what happened. When I file taxes through Turbo Tax it actually asks if you need any of your forms ammended. I would have called and asked for them to help me get it ammended.

They still offshore. I work for a better company
and they don't offshore.
They are an offshore company with a front in the US.
Not that company anymore, but yes they do offshore sm
They currently offshore to a company that starts with a D in India. They don't lie about it though, it says right on their website that facilities have the choice and it is the facilities not wanting to pay as much that drove the offshore movement. All of the QA is done domestically though - used to QA it and they did okay, but they still always have plenty of clients not allowing offshore so their is still job security with them. I'm on my own now, but I don't think anything has changed lately since I left last year.
American company - They do not offshore
And probably as stable as anything can be these days. They are strictly U.S. Good pay. Let you set your own schedule and there is plenty of work. That doesn't mean their clients will not offshore for a cheaper rate at any given time. Paid training, earn 2 weeks PTO first year, direct deposit, and benefits. Platform is awful but the way they establish templates makes it worth it. QA is great. They encourage you to send reports. I read awful things about them, but found that not to be true at all. They are a very small company (150 MTs) so you can not expect an HR Department or complete organization but the work is steady and I have found them to be supportive. Three tier pay by skill level.
Work for a company that doesn't offshore
Possible offshore company on jobs board?
Apobos2 - looks to be 3 ads same company - all off shore???
how can you indicate NOT an offshore company based on what you "read?"

Did some consulting for them but no MT.
They paid on time. That's about as much as I can tell you.

K&R Consulting
Does anyone have any information about K&R Consulting? They are the ones who posted an ad hiring 55 MT's for a VA hospital? I can't seem to find much information on them and they require a background search. I am a little leery before sending off my info on a company I know little about. Any info. would be great!
K&R Consulting
Hello. I was wondering if anyone had any information on this company, K&R Consulting. They say that they have a VA Hospital coming on board and that is what the MT would be typing for.
TIA
K&R Consulting, Inc?
Just wondering if anyone has heard of or worked for K&R Consulting, Inc??? thoughts??
K&R CONSULTING, INC.
I too just sent out an email to this company and was very excited for their quick response...literally 10-15 minutes...She started the hiring process for me, so let's hope everything goes okay...
Would love to hear from anybody working for this company to give me some further information on them.

Focus doesn't offshore to India, they are an Indian company
that offshores to the U.S. They have an office front in MA, I think.
LML Transcription and Consulting
Yes, I worked for her for a few years a couple years back. Wonderful lady, pays on time every time. I would go back and work for her again in a heartbeat.
Her job is advising and consulting. LOL
You sound jealous.
Any info on K&R Consulting? sm
Their website is down and I can't find anything on here even in the archives. Thanks.
Bright Consulting
Has anyone had any experiences good or bad working for Bright Consulting?

What about Mitchem Consulting
What is the problem Mitchem Consulting?
anyone working for K&R Consulting?
I know they had VA accounts with a VBC line rate. Wondering how that is working out as far as making lines for QA and MT. Thanx.
Anyone work for/know about K&R Consulting?
Are they organized? Is pay on time? Any other information.
Thanks.
I worked for an all US MT company, we lost to offshore. Couldn't compete with their bids, and th
:(
No, but they did hire a consulting group to take over the
management of the MTS, and things went downhill quickly from there. We started getting bombarded with e-mails daily regarding the backlog (even with little to nothing on the system), and then they became very demanding about working extra when the minutes started building. Primary and backup accounts were always caught up.
The only communication is through your account manager. Don't expect to hear back from anyone higher. You're just wasting your time.
Anyone ever heard of LML Transcription and Consulting?
If so, your thoughts please?
Mitchem Consulting Network?
any info on this company?? Thanks in advance.
Uhmmm shouldn't you be consulting your lawyer
Ya know this has taken over the entire company board, and it's not fair. No one can even ask regular questions due to all this mess.
offshore overseas.... not outsource .... correct term is offshore.
nm
This seems to be pro-offshore board. Messages against offshore often just disappear.
:+
offshore to India, it's OFFSHORE (off shore), not outsource to India.
nm
The offshore...
but that's to cover third shift. They have no intention of replacing their whole staff with offshore workers. There are things I don't like about the company but I believe them when they say that. They've been offshoring for years and have plenty of work for those who want to work in the US.
Offshore, offshore, offshore.
o
Do you me offshore
Outsource is what hospital do when they send their dictation to a company such as Transcend or OSI.
Offshoring is when they send their dictation to overseas transcriptionists. It is easy to confuse the two.
offshore definitely nm
nm
They offshore, top pay is around 8.5 cpl.
There have been several complaints the last couple of weeks about lack of work. Benefits are good. Don't know about platform. Check archives, lots about them lately.
Offshore
Diskriter and OSi also offshore.
Rather than have new posters search through tons of archives for answers to this question, maybe a list should be made of all companies that do offshore and posted permanently on the board, with revisions made as new ones come up. Just a suggestion...please no flames!
Yes, they offshore.
They have a facility in India. The fact that they offshore is all over this board. They have purchased several companies. I do not know if one of them is in New Jersey.
Did he tell you they offshore? nm
