Doctors are typing data into preprepared templates and macros that they can bring up on their laptop screens.
The trend is to get away from these long, narrative and 'repetitive' reports that cost a lot of money and shorten them, includng only the most necessary information, so that sooner or later doctors will do this by themselves.
That what I understood, doing research on EMR.
So bad, so sad for us, the MTs.
