When I started at Medquist 3 years ago, the sign-on bonus was $1,000. There was excuse after excuse as to why I didn't yet qualify. Waiting time...make minimum line count for X number of days (can't remember, maybe 90?), then supervisor said must wait 8 more pay periods with successful minimum line counts, 1200/day and 150 lph to prove myself.
Finally after one year, they sent me half. I never received the other half. I have asked several times on this board and another if anyone had received their sign-in bonus and never an affirmative reply. No negative reply either, just nothing.
Perhaps it's mostly a hoax. But, get the terms in writing (I did not).

No need to feel dubious
just because a company doesn't have a web site. The internet hasn't been around forever and there are plenty of good jobs available with companies with a web site. Sure do wish they all had web sites though - makes it so much easier to apply and get more information etc.
You are so wrong, Dubious!
We get 1.5 times base rate for holiday pay -- not TIME AND A HALF.
We don't get 30% of base for ASR...we get 70% of base for ASR.
Please give RIGHT fact at least!
Rather dubious if you can't find anything. Never heard of them before. nm
