Don't trust either Transcend or MDI. I think MDI will be forced to let people go, or perhaps that was part of the plan. Remember on the conference call how evasive they were when it came to specifics? That is what tipped my hand. TRUST NO ONE.

I certainly don't see how anyone is supposed to live on what Spheris pays. Even with the overtime which I worked a LOT I never made 50K a year.

This has never happened on this account before, EVER. In fact, I'm not entirely positive there is even a skeleton crew of in-house MTs for this facility; I believe it is ALL outsourced.

I tried thinking of reasonable possibilities this work sat for 3 days before we got it, too, but I failed. The only thing that makes any sense is as Cynical outlines below.

Sad but true, folks.

The question is, will Transcend just cut us loose on January 1st when our contracts expire, or will MDI-MD start letting us go 1 by 1, starting with PT and working their way up.

Guess I'll wait for a phone call to know for sure.

We are always busy, "starve" -- doubtful
If anything, MDI-FL works us to death, that is my complaint

If you have work at TT, which is doubtful, without putting in MANY extra hours and NOT putting

the correct number of hours on your timesheet -- that is stealing work from the other MT's ! Also you are giving false information on your timesheet, which TT will eventually get into trouble for allowing you to do -- just like the Q got into trouble!

You are obviously taking the only halfway decent dictators from other MT's. Makes me sick that the leads/supes/mgmt-type people transcribe and take the cream of the crop from the MT's ! That should NOT BE ALLOWED by TT mgmt AT ALL !! !

It is DEFINITELY going on tho. TT management, you need to STOP this practice and share the fairly decent dictators with EVERYONE !

When I was hired on a number of years ago, I was told that TT had 35% ESL's. What a JOKE and untruth !
