I guess at this rate, they may be hiring if everyone ends up quitting due to lack of work. They will come on here and state that we should just call the office and you will get put on another account. That is a joke. We have all tried that and you get ignored.

Well, what do they do when people dont meet their required lines due to no work. Most ridiculous
thing I ever heard of. Overhire and then I expect MTs are to work 24/7 to get in required lines. Nothing like making a total fool out of people. Hardly worth making minimum wage now is it.
I see a lot of people posting on here about quitting MQ and I was just wondering where they all went

It even freaks some of them out, especially in light of electronic identity theft and no way to enforce U.S. law of confidential records in other countries. Some woman in Pakistan actually threatened a hospital in California with putting patient records on the internet! Claims that software is made so it cannot be saved on the computer are bull: It can be copied and pasted or even written down by the MT and passed on. Here it's a felony and we're accountable. Not there. It does scare people when you tell them that. And it should. I just don't think many people are aware, realize the ramifications of it, or know what to do about it.
I dont know what that means. I am an SE. I dont sit and wait for work I come back in when it is
there so I never had to deal with Amherst when there was no work because I just stopped working and did other things. My feeling is if this doesnt work there are other jobs out there.

And you know I police everyone else because? Quite the assumption to make, eh? And spoken like a true cherry picker. Do my own work? Nah, I'm too busy doing the work everybody else has decided they're too good to do and they throw it back. Yes, please explain exactly how I get to do MY OWN work. Either you are a cherry picker yourself or you don't have people cancelling jobs and throwing them back for you to do, which results in a pretty crappy line count at times. You don't know me, don't make assumptions about who I'm policing. And, betcha the non-cherry pickers aren't afraid of us police!

stiffed on our pay, lied to, mislead, underpaid, broken promises. Yes, there is a reason why people change jobs. You can only take so much. Is it a wonder that a lot of MT are burned out. Does anyone want to keep changing jobs?? No, it would be great to actually be able to make a living doing what we love the most at one company that follows through on promises. It does kind of take the wind of your sails when your dished out nothing but ........ all the time. So, that is why I stick up for Msla MT. There are more out there right with her.

I worked there for few months and realized that its not a good place to work at all. Specially the Owners of the Company is the biggest problem to work there as he is not a professional at all. They are loosing clients recently and not good to go there

I read all of the replies to your question so far, and it is nice to see all the support from your coworkers. All had very thoughtful and well thought out replies. Must be a nice company to work for, and I think you are fortunate to work there.

If you think you dont get more of the junk work when it is picked over by VR or ASR you had better
think again. The best attendings will be gone to VR and you will get the leftovers. I have been doing both for a year and I can guarantee you your CEO is full of it. Dont believe a word of it. You will either make less money on ASR or less money on the leftovers. Take you choice.

I do understand the dilemma, but honestly, start looking for a job that does pay during this period. I know of many companies that unfortunately play games with your pay and I've been watching one do this for five years now and remarkably he is still in business because while he does eventually make good on his promise to pay, he wreaks havoc on those who work for him constantly. People like this should be shut down, but as long as his contractors keep playing along with him, he will continue.
I dont think you will make more than that for clinic work.
I make 10 cpl at the Q, but have been there 12 years and was at that rate when my prior company was bought out.
There are people who make that, but not for clinic work and probably not for just starting at a company. I have been applying like crazy and the best I came up with was 8 cpl for Basic 4 and 9 cpl for straight OPs.
Thats 15 years experience.

They throw you into a pool that they have overhired for and there is not enough work to go around... then they cry and complain when youre not hitting your production. They set impossible standards.... unless youre a brown-noser, in which case, see those peoples posts as the ones who would say anything positive about DSG. Its like the movie Mean Girls, and the mean girls are running the show there.

As a whole.. nice people to work for, decent benefits but the get off/on the system, work/no work,
is maddening. I couldnt pay my bills or even work the schedule I was assigned. They would ask us not to work until work built up in the evenings and I specifically wanted to work days as I have kids etc. It just didnt work out for me but to each his own. It just seems there has to be a better balance in this business that what is happening.
For people at MDI-MD that say they are out of work, I see they are hiring now. Are people still
running out of work or did they get more accounts. I am interested in this company.
Maybe they dont answer because there is no work to get.Best way to avoid things I guess.

Just dont ever forget the work that goes to India and other countries. I guess they will be doing
weekends etc. I am sure MQ has this all very nicely figured out.
If your hired at an hourly rate and you run out of work, then you dont get paid anything??
Just saying, you worked a total of 3 hours one day, ran out of work for two hours, then for that day you only get paid 3 hours? That would suck and it wont pay my bills.
