The company has a complete checklist...
They state you must have Win XP for example. They mention that Word 2000 is not compatible, but that Word 2003 is. They don't say anything about Word 2002. I work on another software that is web based and it's compatible with a USB pedal, so I kinda don't get why EditScript would need a 9-pin pedal to work, in which case I would need an adapter since my PC is all USB.
If you don't complete what can you do? I don't,,,
work myself silly trying to get caught up. If I'm short, so be it....it's my paycheck, so I am really only harming myself in the wallet. The thing that irritates me is that when everyone is short they try to make up their time on their days off during my regular work time, taking work away from me.
you are a complete mess!!
ewwwwwww!

Why The Complete Turnaround... NOW
?? at this point in time? The problem is, begging for work like this is humiliating. You have work today, how about tomorrow? Will they open the flood gates again?
BTW--I complete my work in the daytime
..definitely not interested in 3rd shift!

Complete medical transcription
has anyone ever heard of the co Complete Medical Transcription? I was offered a job, ic status, but when she called the caller id came up as mynameisjoanna, WI no number. Also her email just says joanna. do you think this is an overseas co. any thoughts??
It took me 6 months to get complete refund...
and I left the company in January. They at first only refunded me 100 dollars and said due damage to the monitor they would not be refunding the remaining 200. I explained to them there must be some mistake because the monitor was in perfect condition when I shipped it back to them but they still refused to refund the remaining 200 dollars, but then out of the blue I received a check last week for the 200 dollars and they sent an email saying Although the equipment was damaged, we have decided to refund the remaining 200 dollars anyway. Okay whatever but the equipment was not damaged when I shipped it back, but I am glad they decided to do the right thing.
Our whole COUNTRY is full of complete

I'm being hateful to complete strangers?
you've got it all figured out, now don't you? Guess you told me, huh?
Are you dyslexic by any chance, or just in a rush to judgment? The first 10 years of my career, I was an in-house MT with great pay and benefits. We were respected employees in the hospital and I enjoyed a reputation as being a top-notch MT....that's how I got a 30% raise with free benefits at Baylor College Medicine and later at Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, working during the hey-day of heart transplant advances made by such world-renown doctors as Dr. Denton Cooley and Dr. Michael DeBakey. You may have heard of them. So you see, I never really considered myself a failure, having been in the position to have the privilege of being a part of that. I guess I needed you to bring that to my attention.
After outsourcing, I maintained my connections to the Baylor and the TMC through my accounts and typed my way through ground-breaking AIDS research and later pioneering advances in plastic surgery. Silly me. I didn't measure my success in terms of dollars and cents, worldly possessions and the like. I took great pride in my work (still do) and learned to struggle through the love/hate relationship I had with it. At least I had the satisfaction of knowing that I was a part of something that was intelligent, important, worthwhile and helpful to others. I stayed in it for the only real reason I have ever understood throughout the years...quality patient care. I had a contribution to make to that. You see, dear, it was not an industry to me...it was my calling.
My post was an attempt to address the unnecessary hate part of that relationship. My comments were not directed toward some mean-spirited stranger in need of a self-righteous superiority fix, but feel free to trounce me to your heart's content. I did not put in all those years of hard work to be run out of the profession by theiving subcontractors or the likes of you. I had a story to tell and a message to deliver to the penny pinching TTD scavenger, no more, no less.
Your judgmental, snide and trite observations are too petty to merit further comment, except to say that you need to reserve the pity party for yourself. You are the one who has made a sad and meaningless commentary here, not me.
But what about the ER report being disjointed and not complete - sm
Is that the way to run a medical record? Is that the way to report a human experience? I think something needs to be done about this sloppy and I do mean sloppy reporting of a patient medical case.
The info given by Happy MT is very complete,
but do remember the amount of income you do your calculations on is the amount AFTER your deductions. Refer to IRS website for deductible office space, equipment, and expenses, etc. for home office.
I am sure she was legally bound not to say anything about the sale until it was complete. That is s
business by the person who owns the business and the person who is purchasing it. She built her business, paid people for the work they did (does not owe anyone more than that), sold it and moved on. Why is it so hard for anyone to understand and why make it personal?
Thanks! How long does the test typically take to complete? nm
nm
I was also told I had to complete 8 hours even if I got my lines before that. nm

Just update your resume, be more complete but keep it brief. They just want to know the nature of yo
If you want a job, and they want to know how to fit you for which department, best to say what you can do like basic 4 acute 10 years, etc. Nothing wrong with that question. They are just trying to match your skills with the job. Some MTs have only done clinic notes or psych notes and some have never done ops no matter 10 or 20 years, etc. Put yourself in their shoes and you will find a reasonable answer. IMHO
uh, judging by this complete thread, sounds like a lot

Craigslist is full of complete idiots.
The funny thing is, I've seen dealers post with grammar/spelling like that.
I make it a point to not buy things from people like that. I mean, a typo here and there is one thing, but some of them type like 5 year olds and I don't want to give money to idiots!
Are there any companies that allow you a 12-24 hour window to complete work?
x
Total, utter and complete waste of time, effort,
The *CMT* so-called credential is nothing but a scam. THEY get rich, and you DON'T.
I think it's Texas. I'm glad I didnt complete the testing. The sound quality was bad.
I want to think that this Rose was defending one of her newer MTs that had been burned by a former employer for nonpayment so I find this interesting that they would turn out the be the same way.. Wow...
Which company is this? I post here all the
time and would like to know if my company was the culprit. Thanks.
Post an ad = company doing bad. Don't post = company doing bad. If we
did not have something to complain about, what could we possibly do with all that spare time?????????
Why post this if you are not going to say the company name?
Have to post about this company now...
Hi all, I've been through the grind over the last few years like so many MTs trying to piece together IC work, getting a good job here and there only to be forced into VR with as much as 60% pay cuts, etc. etc., so I just wanted to say for a change, THANK YOU to the one company that has kept me afloat through all this misery. It's a small company that I've worked for over a year now part time (wish I could be full time, but there just aren't the accounts available). This company is AccuSTAT out of Wisconsin. The pay is above average, the working conditions are great, things are run neatly and sensibly, and it is a pure pleasure to work there, like it used to be at the great smaller MTSOs before 2000. I know, it sounds like I'm some kind of company official plugging this way, but I'm just a lowly MT who kind of stumbled into the job when I needed it the most. As many bad experiences as I've had over the past few years (and posted about here, too), I am just so grateful to them and thought I should say so.
If you have the chance to work for them, I have to put in my 2 dollars and say go for it. With all the pressures on smaller MTSOs today, though, how long can they keep operating in a way that's profitable for the MT as well as for them? It doesn't seem like a good climate these days for any honest company. It does seem like work is starting to trickle back to the States and I hope that continues in a big way (I've taken another job outside of MT to fill in the gaps, hence my name). I hope all the small (and large, if there are any) MTSOs who are such an asset to the industry can hold on until then.
We just never hear about these good companies enough because they seldom have to advertise for MTs, but I think they deserve a mention and some credit for what they do. I know I'll be there as long as they have any work for me. I do hope that some of the hospitals who are tired of poor quality of work and questionable billing practices will take a second look at companies like AccuSTAT that are have always been committed to high standards, and do such a good job of keeping MT morale so high -- always the best way to ensure excellent transcription, IMHO, though so often not even considered these days. OK, off my soapbox, I know I sound nerdy but sometimes you just have to say it out loud.
She has EVERY RIGHT to post that she is happy with her company!!
You think you and the rest of the people who are all about negative negative negative are the only ones allowed to post...you aren't too sharp are ya?
They all post below, but not yet one of them will say what company they recruit for. What is sm
up with that? Does anyone wonder? LOL. I sure do.
If the company were more forthcoming, we would not have to post here.

This should have been under Cenla company post.
it's okay to post company name, per moderator.
nm
this is for post further down, yes company board,
'have you ever worked out of the home'...sorry for confusion.
Yes, so that those who didn't see the post on the Company board may see it on the
Main board. What's wrong with that? Isn't that ok to do?
SATISFIED MTs, Please post initials or name of your company here
If you are happy with your job, please post company name or initials here.
Dissatisfied MTs, post initials of company here
Let's take a poll
I know nothing about this company, but I just wanted to say just because she wouldn't post her na
means absolutely nothing. There are reasons why a person may not want to post his or her name about such a volatile issue. I was in the same boat a few months ago. I would have implicated someone else. Sorry, this may not make sense, but I'm just pointing out that she may have a valid reason.
Post on Main Board now about her company. nm

That may be but if companies can't post ads without company names,

Your post makes my point. If IC, company is NOT

I also could have written your post.. Does your company start with a .....
T...??? It just sounds way too familiar and I have cut back on working for them because I'm sick of getting the garage that they won't send to the Indians
I moved this post to the Company board. NM
I'm like to know the answer to her post also. I have worked for an MT company in NY state,
and while I lived in another state at that time, I received full benefits; Ic or employee status had no bearing on receiving benefits. If I were the original poster, I would check this company out very thoroughly. Something just doesn't sound right tax-wise.
In case this company doesn't see this post, email them and tell them

but a great post - my company gets bashed all the time too.

Don't have mine yet either...agree with above post about company going downhill..sm
A constant lack of work since November. One day we are working and then the next day we are told to sign off because of no work and to not sign in until they tell us. In total since November I have missed 17 days due to no work. That is a lot of money for me. Hard to get another job because I need my insurance.
Again, your post is showing your lack of knowledge of the company now. sm
I am not going to argue with you but suffice to say that RD is no longer here either. It has obviously been a while since you were an employee of the company. I don't know and don't care why you left/or were let go, but do not speak of something you know absolutely nothing about. It only looks bad on you.
MODERATOR why is this company allowed to post a job opening here
when it's an offshore company??? They are looking for in-house MTs, and they are located in Pakistan...
About Diskriter - It's a great company to work for, but why did you post under the MQ question
??
Here's how to safely post a bad experience with a company - just write "have you tried

My previous post was verbatim from the company when I inquired at employment. Maybe (sm)
they tell everyone something different, like what they THINK they want to hear.....Guess I should have put it in quotes.
