There are plenty of people waiting to make you feel worse, so do not listen to them. You did not supply much information. How long have you worked for the company. What were your QA auditing scores? How many reports? It's hard to believe someone is let go due to punctuation errors. You said someone else went over your work. Where is the work that got you fired? That is what you need to look at, study, and remember. Do you have the BOS? Are you using it?
Don't feel too bad. Maybe this is a learning step you have to take. You do have to find out exactly what it was that got your fired to complete the lesson. Fortunately, when you apply to other companies and they verify your previous employment, normally these things are not passed along. My old company would only verify length of employment and income - nothing else. Look for an account or specialty that you feel comfortable with and try again.
