I couldn't find anything in the archives. They are hiring right now and it sounded like they had really good benefits etc.

Does anyone work for TTS.. Good or bad comments?

OSI - good/bad comments?
I am considering a part time MT position with OSi and would like to hear some feedback from anyone who works/worked with them. Thanks!
Good comments
Thanks for the good comments and sane observations.
In a perfect world we would all follow the Golden Rule and everyone would be happy.
Until then.........
Agree with comments above, good and bad, BUT SM
if you need insurance, FORGET IT. They recently implemented terrible insurance plan with high deductable (like $2000), no med coverage and $10,000 out of pocket expense for year.
Otherwise, it is just fine and I work on high level account with lots of ESL. Not a big problem. The company will work with terrible dictators to get them in line.
Just insurance stinks, as previously noted.
Transcend... any comments, good, bad or ugly? TIA...nm

Exactly. That also goes for good and bad comments. Employers can be sued.
Employees can also be sued. Bad taste though and we do not need that type of thing. We have had enough of it on these boards.
All Type is a good company. There are comments down
this page. Just scroll down. You can check out their website at http://www.alltype.net
I know we need MTs.
I have a pretty good list. Any comments/corrections welcome. This is just from
what I have seen over the past few years in terms of growth, size and national accounts.
I put them alphabetical rather than size as I am not 100% on a few. There are 11 instead of 10 too.
This also leaves off a few that only have U.S. Editors with all work done offshore.
If I am missing any, I apologize. These are companies that I have seen at AHIMA, in magazines, on these boards, at AAMT, etc. I am not claiming perfection so I have omitted any, I apologize in advance.

Why so very few comments regarding Diskriter? Are comments by employees not permitted SM
on public forums. I have always been interested to see comments on this company, as they are constantly advertising and seem to have an attractive employee package. Unfortunately, never seeing comments on MT boards makes me extremely uneasy. I'm sure they could have stipulations in their contracts that prevent them from commenting, but even so I would expect to see good or bad comments even from ex-employees. Hmmm? Plus, if the anonymity is supposed to be in place on these boards, how can it hurt for employees to make a general comment, good or bad?
TransTech also uses ExText, but think they were running out of work, too. Any comments? nm

I think majority of negative comments start when work is low and
they start looking for another job. I, for one, would rather be too busy and have to work an extra hour or 2 than not to have any work. Overhiring is the death of all of us, since we do not have a guaranteed income unless you are a team leader or hourly employee.
Failure to pay on time is another large problem that will produce negative comments.
If companies were actually above-board with the problems at their company before the hiring process is completed, a lot of this could be avoided.
there was a lot of 'out of work' comments long before and leading up to any - sm
negativity, which, I might add, seem to excalate as the baren dayes turned into months.
my experience on this site.
The best co. ever! Good work, good people, good pay, good bennies.

I'm with them. Good work environment, easy accounts and I'm making really good money. nm
Does anyone recommend a pretty good company that is good to work for, pay always on time and plenty
of work. I know that is asking a lot, but just curious?
Is Transcend a good company with a good platform to work on. They are advertising.
:
U.S. only, very steady work, some VR, good pay, good insurance, no PT, schedule. sm
That should cover it!
NO WORK at Transtech -- did no good to work the holiday for 1.5 lines, did it?
I am sure the office staff will share their PAID HOLIDAY MONIES with us who sit here with no work. This has gotten to be such a frustrating profession. I guess I need to relocate to Houston so that I can work in the office, too, and reap those wonderful paid benefits that us at-home piecemeal workers do not get.
Much good work going to India. Bad work left
xx
I work 2 accts, always work available, pay as IC is good..
They offered me more than Transcend did, I work 2nd shift, work always availble, OT usually available. Staff is very responsive to questions, very helpful.
They have good work. They have sm
several different platforms. They hire SE status.
Good, all the more work for me!! sm
Not sure what bad stuff you heard or where you heard it, but please keep in mind that not every company is the perfect fit for every transcriptionist. I also heard good and bad about MDI-MD and chose to try for myself.
I have also seen positive and negative things mentioned about virtually every transcription company you discussed on this web site.
I currently work for them. They are a good
company. Pay is always on time. Work has been slow the past week. It's like all the other companies - when work is slow everyone is on the account and when there is a backlog - no one will work. My only complaint is that there are to many people on the account I work on but I'm sure it is for the reason listed above.
I used to work for them. Pay is good but...sm
An 18 to 20 day wait after invoice for a paycheck. They pay by the minute and gross lines for cardio accounts. The platform is very technical and I found it quite monotonous.
Hmm, I think they are good to work for. sm
Just because a few posters in the past do not like a particular company, doesn't mean that is the gospel truth about ANY place. Webmedx has plenty of work, good benefits and I think fair pay. If they were not a good fit for you, that does not mean they are not a good fit for someone else.
I know where they are....need to know if they are any good to work for.
b
If I have work, I'm good with it but
it sounds like the original poster was concerned about running out of work. I hope they are not only accepting MQ's overflow and have MANY other accounts. I have not run out of work and I'm praying I don't.
OSi good? No work!!
For at least 2 months now there has been no work. 14/15 hours a day waiting for work. Can't IMAGINE why they are hiring when current employees are starving.
they use to be very good to work for sm
but don't know about now.
Good MTs will always have work
I worked with a company that uses the other parts of EMR. It's not just MT. Lab values and tests, radiology, etc are being entered oftentimes by office staff/hospital staff. There are companies already contracted to datamine this data and spit back reports to the facilities as to how efficient they are being, if their diabetic or cardiac patients are meeting all required criteria, if any blood levels are high/low etc. This is a GREAT thing for patient care.
MTs who have taken advantage of staying abreast of all venues available, who can do VR, edit, QA will work. There will be few MT jobs, IMO, because in order to decrease costs, the bottom rung is where to start. But if you're talented, willing to be flexible in your methods, and staying current on what's out there, you'll work.
Very, very good company to work
The pay, well, how good are you? You can make it what you want, so the post below, I would say she is not very good.
TTS Co has an ad running. Anyone know if they are good to work for? nm
Good or bad?
QT is not a good place to work IMO

Good company to work for
Hello Everyone,
I am currently emplopyed with a major transcription company that I am not happy with. I am looking to switch to another company, but not sure which one(es) would be a good decision.
I have 12 years of experience and am looking to work at home. Any and all information would be helpful.
Thank you
I need a good company 2 work 4
Okay, having asked about Amphion, I'm just gonna ask if anyone can refer any good companies that have work. I need part-time employee status, preferably a computer, decent line pay, and good incentives. I really need to find a company in the next couple of weeks. I have been with MQ for a really long time and have had no work for the last four weeks and very low work volume for the last year. Thanks!
To be a good RN-you have to love the work. sm
I spent 13 years in the hospital in varying departments, 10 of them as a nurse aide. You can tell which nurses go into it for the money. They don't like to work afternoons, weekends or holidays. They get upset when they get blood or human waste on their uniforms. They can be very rude with the patients. I worked with lots of nurses and my point is, it takes a special nurse to work with sick people 5 days a week and many times over 8 a day. It's not for everybody. If you want to get a feel for nursing, become a CNA first. You can deal with very sick, very contagious patients. You can deal with very nice and also very cantakerous doctors. It's physically demanding, hard on the back, etc. The world needs more kind, caring, patient nurses, not nurses who just love the money earned and yes, it is good. If you love people, take pride in your work and truly don't mind all else that goes along with it-good and bad-then go for RN. But don't just do it for the money. I wanted to be an RN because I loved being a CNA but couldn't continue due to health reasons. I love being an MT because I still am exposed to the medical field, only now I am in the background instead of the front of the field.
Good company to work for.
Lots of work. Platform is easy to learn. Flexible schedules. Good for an IC.
Good Company To Work For!!! :)
I have worked in the transcription industry for almost 16 years and by far Keystrokes has treated me the best since I have been with them. Wonderful staff, couldn't ask for anything any better. Why don't you apply? They have a lot to offer and are growing!
They are a good company to work for
Good luck to you, I have been with Medware almost one year, started part time and went full time. I like my account and team leader, type on EXText. Good benefits too. They have consistent work and pay by direct deposit. www.medwaremt.com
Spheris is good to work for.
I worked for Spheris for a while. I thought they were very good to work for. I have no complaints. They were very flexible on my hours when I needed it.
No, not affiliated in any way. I work for the one in FL, and they are very good. nm
xx
Yes, good company to work for
Pay on time, good benefits, decent line rate, 401-K (just started match), PTO.
Keystrokes definitely a good one - work there now
Had a nightmare experience with TT. Have heard DeVenture is a good one but no personal experience.
Not a good place to work. sm
They screw you over and don't pay very well. I would stay clear of them!!!!
Very good company wot work
for if you seriously want to work full time. That was my problem. I didn't want to be on a set schedule.
good friend went to work for them
She was trained on the platform haphazardly and quit after one day. There is no grace period for getting docked for mistakes and from the first report, they started docking her pay for any type of mistake. The patient list came in a copied fax format that you couldn't even see and she said it was just awful trying to find a patient name.
DSG is NOT MQ. They are a good company to work for, sm
The only thing now is there is not a lot of work except for QA evidently. But I still like working for them. They just use the DocQScribe platform like a few other companies.
You need to work for a good company, sm
one that does not outsource or lie. That company is Webmedx. Give them a try. I have been there since 2003 and actually enjoy my job for a change.
ZYLOMED good or bad to work for?
tell all please
you need a good chair to work with sm
I had the same problems for years until I broke down and spent the money for a Herman Miller chair. They are expensive, upwards of 700 bucks, but I can tell you now that I have one, I have NEVER had a problem with my back. I would never work again without this kind of a chair.
Good pay, steady work?
I was considering applying but don't want to jeopardize my current job.
