Are there any companies out there that offer benefits to PT employees, such as health insurance?
I know it's a rarity but I know hospitals do.
They offer PT benefits. They were not my cup of tea
but they do offer them if you live in certain states.
What benefits do they offer..
I have an interview coming up with them and wonder how much PTO you get and what kind of insurance, disability, etc. Thanks!
Does MDI offer benefits?
Can anyone tell me if MDI offers benefits. Is the work volume still low? Is there a lot of VR and ESL work?
Thanks

Does anyone think FutureNet will EVER offer benefits? sm
Does anyone think Futurenet will ever offer any benefits? PTO, free direct deposit without meeting certain line requirements, health coverage for all? Or do you think they are going to continue what they are offering now? Has there been ANY WORD of maybe having these in the near future? Just wondering. Curious of whether or not to possibly take the position. Would LOVE it if they were planning on offering ANY, if not all, of these...
This is IC pay, and they offer no benefits whatsoever. nm
They are able to offer great benefits...
because they do more than just transcription. And, for clarification, my posts are referring to the supervisor to whom the MTs report directly. Ms. Nasty-for-no-reason-at-all.
Does SPI really offer benefits? The last time I checked they did not.
Thanks for any information.
They offer similar benefits and they are not as small as you think! sm
I think they are close to 500 employees now.
They also do not lose accounts. I worked for a hospital that went with them and they just renewed for the 2nd time, been with them 6 years now.
I think that MQ is losing the accounts to companies like Keystrokes because of the offshore MQ does!
Does MDI-MD offer employee status, benefits??? SM
I could not find any of this info on their website. I need to know before applying so I won't waste their time and mine. Thanks very much.
11 cpl? I guess that means we won't be able to offer benefits. nm
.No hate mail - just reality that benefits cost BIG BUCKS.
Any companies out there that offer the hospital benefits besides Diskriter
I currently work in-house a hospital but they do not have at-work positions and I would like ot work at home so I wondered if there were other companies and/hospitals that hire at-home MTs with full benefits....besides Diskriter as I have not heard a lot of good news about them and it makes me nervous to apply.
Quote from OP's post: Do they offer the same benefits as Trascend....
nm
Looked on their website but it does not appear that they offer benefits so I am right in assuming
this is not an employee status position?
What type of insurance do they offer? Just me, SM
so don't need family rate. Is is good? HMO? PPO? What company?
This is very important for me to know. I don't care about schedules, since I worked for woman in charge there before. I just need insurance. Thanks.
Do they offer health insurance?

Can anyone offer any information on Amphion's insurance?
The company I currently work for has made insurance cuts and I'm forced to go on the hunt again. Thank you!
I'd be happy if these nationals would offer insurance
and other bennies NOT contingent on line counts, or lower the bar a little, at least. I'd get a job there and stay forever if that were the case.
Do any companies offer insurance that covers IVF? sm
Does anyone happen to know if any companies offer insurance that covers IVF? I have been in this business for nearly a decade and have been doing QA for the last 4, but I would take a job right now with just about anyone as long as they offered insurance that covered IVF. It is so expensive out of pocket, and I really need the coverage. I have even been considering taking a job out of the transcription industry to get this coverage. So, I guess if anyone knows anywhere at all I can get this coverage.. please help!!! I am unfortunately in a state where this coverage is not mandated... so it is very hard to come by... :(
I am not sure if this was the right board... but I thought it was worth a shot... :P

Are there any companies who offer health benefits to part time employees?
Need insurance.
MDI-ers: Is Instant Text compatible with MDI's platform? Do they offer health benefits? nm

Companies are hardly offer FT employees any decent benefits so I think is going to be rare to find
them for PT employees. I would love that too, unfortunately, I work too much just to get below average benefits. Best of luck in your search. Honestly, I think the only place you'll find benefits for part-timers is going in-house at a hospital.
That's strange. When I received an offer, I thought it was competitive and the benefits were good
especially medical insurance benefits for family. Maybe I did not look at them very close. Could you elaborate on what you were offered? I really thought they were decent pay and benefits.
Thank you. Could you elaborate on the benefits, offer single medical coverage or family, PTO etc...
Thanks
Insurance/benefits
Can anyone recommend a good company that doesn't have outrageous premiums for family health coverage? It seems most places are running in the $500+ per month range. Does that seem about right? I've been working just part-time for the last few years and didn't need benefits until now, so I have really never looked into the insurance premiums. Thanks in advance.

How affordable for family, and what about other benefits?
Trasolutions, anyone know the kind of health insurance they offer? i.e. BC/BS
PA health insurance benefits
I can't speak for all employers. I was manager of the transcription department for a large cardiology practice. Our health insurance premium was totally paid for (employee only). The company paid half of the premium for family coverage. Yes, those were the good old days! Now, as an employee with a national, I am looking at $400 per month for individual health insurance coverage with my current company.
I believe it's 90 days...I got my insurance benefits (sm)
after 90 days.
Any companies offer health insurance for part time?
Survey - What type of medical insurance does your company offer?
Just curious about which company you work for and what type of medical insurance they offer. HMO, PPO? Cheap or expensive for you?
Does any company offer insurance to part'time employees? nm

Companies w/Escription accounts that offer affordable family insurance??
I realize that affordable is subjective so whatever information anyone can give woudl be appreciated. The majority of Escription accounts offer IC only. Thanks
Keystrokes is hiring. Can anyone tell me how much for their medical insurance benefits etc...
I am looking for a FT job with good medical benefits for either myself or family coverage. They are seeking ortho MTs and that is right up my alley. Thanks in advance for any help.
Yes, time clock. No insurance or any benefits for parttime.

You have to wait 90 days to quality for insurance and the other benefits. sm
There are 3 different plans for coverage -- basic, choice, and ultimate, I think -- and you choose which one is right for you. I do not have the paperwork handy, but it seems like good coverage at a reasonable price (single coverage, don't really remember about family), and you can also opt for dental and vision insurance. You are right, though, the premium is deducted every 2 weeks.
Does Transtech offer IC status??
Does anyone know if Transtech has IC status or is it only employee status?
Any companies offer part-timers chance to buy into group insurance? need coverage ....
I've been looking at prices for solo medical insurance and while I can probably afford some coverage, I'm feeling rather paranoid about having insurance canceled if I actually get sick -- I'm fairly ignorant about what protections may have been passed and may just be responding to other people's horror stories.
Anyway, I'm not entirely sure I want to work full time for any of the nationals ... they seem to have gotten awfully rigid wrt daily line counts within certain fixed hours ... some days I'm simply creaky and hate feeling pressured ... so part time to start seems more reasonable than jumping in with both feet. Any infor or recommendations appreciated ...
Thanks!
Focus Infomatics..anyone have information on the cost of their insurance or other benefits?
I heard they recently started offering their employees insurance...just wondering the cost and if it's good insurance. Thanks
I love my job but I think I lost my insurance benefits. Has anyone else not met the pay period quota
one time and had their insurance taken away? I think it happened to me. I fell short this payperiod on my time ($90) as I was ill for a couple of days and had no PTO time to use. Now, my insurance premiums were not taken out so I am afraid they canceled my insurance, which was the largest reason I have stayed. I needed the good insurance etc..not to mention that I just like working there and my supervisors. I did make more than enough for them to have taken out the premiums so I feel like this was just an excuse to cancel it. Now, if I have to wait another 120 days to qualify again, I will have to end up quitting and that is not a great feeling, but I know I can get a job somewhere else and not have to wait so long to have insurance again. I'm just sickened. I can't believe they would do this in one pay period. I work 7 days a week usually, all hours of the day and night and I just can't grasp they would do this. I have worked there over 2 years. So, do they really do this, for anyone who has had this happen before. Maybe, they are just suspending the insurance this pay period but I don't see how they can stop it one pay period and start it back in 2 weeks on the next pay period. Anyway, stressed out!!!
Any current TransTech MTs out there that can offer any info
regarding pay, platform, etc. Any info appreciated. Did archive search and only came up with 2 posts. TIA!
TransTech-still waiting for offer letter
Hi. This seems sort of related to another message I just saw on this board...I was recently hired by them and they told me they would FedEx the paperwork. Five days later, still no FedEx truck. I know I'm being paranoid (I can't help it--I was just working for OSi!!!), but has this ever happened to anyone else and/or is there anything I need to worry about? I emailed Debbie that I had yet to receive this and asked for a tracking number, and have yet to hear anything back. Thanks very much.
When did you get offer from TransTech? We just got email saying they were NOT hiring . . .
Just wondering how we are going to pay our bills for the next 5-6 months at TT. It has been very tough for a very long time, because of lack of work due to TT overhiring, anticipating new accounts, as all companies do -- HIRE BEFORE THE ACCOUNTS COME ONBOARD and maybe not even get the accounts when that times comes.
My question is when were you offered a job with TransTech?????
TRANSTECH PAY AND BENEFITS
Any information on Transtech pay and benefits out there?
Benefits at TransTech
Before applying for a position with TT, and after checking out their website, I would like to know how their benefits are. Nothing on this at website. So, would someone out there be willing to share this with me. Would mostly like to know about their health insurance coverage for just myself, how much does it cost, and how is the coverage, good or bad, RX coverage, etc. Is their health coverage with a company that covers people in all states? Info is much appreciated. Thanks.
TRANSTECH BENEFITS
Thinking of taking a position with TT. Do they offer raises or yearly bonuses, and how is that determined? Many people have commented about their line counting methods but they mentioned they are getting something new. Do anyone know if that will be soon?
Seeking company that offers good benefits including insurance.
Ideally, I'd like to find a company that offers medical insurance at a reasonable cost for family (under $500 a month) and a decent line count rate. Anyone have any ideas on this. Thanks.
Heard Keystrokes was getting better benefits, medical insurance etc.. Anyone care to elaborate? I
ready for a change.
Transolutions? Anyone know how good their medical insurance benefits are, costs, etc..specifically
family coverage. They say you only have to work 32 hours to be eligible so I'm curious what their benefits are like. Thanks
Focus Infomatics--Anyone have any experience with their insurance benefits, good rate, etc..
Yes, I know all there is to know about them in the negative form but people respond only if you know about their insurance plan. Thanks
