I quit the big Q several years ago and can't remember what program I used. (Old age memory problems, LOL). Does anyone know if they do or did use Docuscribe? TIA.

DocQscribe MedQ
Yes they use DocQScribe and as a matter of fact I have a question for anyone who uses this? I have unstalled and now having problems getting it to reinstall? Help anyone and thank you!
Do MedQ and WebMedx offer PTO? How many
nm
MedQ'ers, can you answer a few questions for me?
I've reviewed the MQ board but I don't work there and I can't post on the MQ board, so I'm posting questions here.
1. Is there any grace period about clocking in on your proposed schedule?
2. What happens if there is no work when you're scheduled; can you make it up without hassle?
3. Can an experienced MT consistently average 200 lines on MT? What about ASR?
Thanks for your help. E-mail me privately if you're more comfortable.
VR lines rates w/Medq vs Transcend
You could never figure the line rate with VR out with Transcend --- it was different with each person and when you did hear the formula, you would need to be a math whiz from Princeton to figure out the percentages of everything. It would always turn out 1/2 of what I would make straight typing. So probably Medquest is paying better on that for sure because I surely didn't make twice what you are saying is the rate for Medquest. They may have their faults and pay less for straight typing but for VR that isn't bad at all. Once you get going if you lose the dang mouse, you pull down twice the lines or more than with straight typing.
DocUscribe...
platform Medquist uses that we all know and love.
DocuScribe
Anyone know how this platform is?
Docuscribe....sm
That account is full of horrible ESLs. I like Docuscribe, but the ESLs, I would say, make up about 60% of the account. It is awful, I won't deal with this much longer. Changes to account day in and day out sometimes 3 times a day...Can't get production going, always something changing....but what can one expect considering where the hospital is located. I am so disappointed.
Docuscribe
I work there and love it. My account just went to Docuscribe and I love it. My production has jumped a good bit. I have plenty of work just about all the time and they leave me alone, pay me on time, etc.
KS regarding Docuscribe
Is KS still looking for people to work on the big account they started a while back? I know it was utilizing Docuscribe and I was hired for it but because of the great amount of ESL dictators, I decided not to stay with them. I really didn't mind the Docuscribe though, and can't figure out why they would require experienc on Docuscribe. I didn't think the platform was difficult to learn at all.
Would love to be on Docuscribe at KS
love to be on it again..it beats Meditech any day!
For any Keystrokes MTs on Docuscribe
How do you feel about the Docuscribe account now that you have had a chance to work on it a while? I read there were lots of ESLs, but how is the work load and have you gotten into a rhythm with it? Thanks.
I went from Docuscribe to Extext. It only took about
a week or so to get up the required line count; but I had to put all my short cuts in over again, so that slowed me down somewhat. All in all its not a bad program.
DSG out of Atlanta uses Docuscribe. nm

They are saving a fortune on Docuscribe (sm)
Since switching most of us have taken a deep dip in wages. A little perk to keep morale up wouldn't hurt.
Anything out there part time DocuScribe except MQ? n/m
x
They are the ones calling it Medquist Docuscribe, not me. nm
Bayscribe versus DocuScribe. Which is better?
I've used both but wondering which people generally prefer. Me? I'd have to say DocuScribe is more user-friendly to me. Ideas?
Does Keystrokes use Docuscribe? How are they to work for?
I am tired of geting burned by some of the companies that advertise here. I want a job that has a lot of work, does not outsource and have good accounts.
My resume is looking worse and worse because I appear to be job hopping. I want to find a good company where I settle in, work hard and retire in 7 or 8 years.
I worked for MQ for 11 years and loved DocQscribe. I just saw an ad from Keystrokes that they use it and want to know if they are as good as they seem to work for.
This is so confusing. Most of the companies either run out of work, send work to India or conveniently forget to pay for work done. Help! I need a good company!
I just started on the new account with DocuScribe. It is the same as MQ. sm
I worked for MQ for a long time. When they got this new account, they asked if I was interested in changing accounts because I had the experience with the platform. It is the same one exactly. The difference is that KS has a lot of work and we are not pooled. They have taken on a lot of MQ accounts in the past few months. I think that they have a great reputation with their accounts and in general and that the fact that they do not send work offshore is very important to hospitals. It is to me :)
Keystrokes Docuscribe Account
Did anyone out there get hired a few weeks ago by KS for a new account that is on the Docuscribe platform (the same one that MQ uses)? If so, how do you like that platform and how is the account? I am very curious about this because it stated in the ad that they will be putting a lot of new accounts on that platform in the coming year. Please share your experience thus far. Thanks a bunch.
Keystrokes New Docuscribe Account
I asked this question last week and would like to check regarding if transcriptionists who were hired for this account feel any better about it yet? Last week there were a lot of negative posts stating too many ESL dictators that were very difficult and they were not able to produce a good line count. Has it improved any for you? Also, how do you like the Docuscribe platform?
No. We use DocuScribe and have no intentions of selling to MQ. sm
They have a separate department for technology, used to be Lanier, and they keep it separate. It is the same as using WebChartMD or EmDat. We pay what we use.
I know of Meditech, DocuScribe, TA+ and ExText for HIM and sm
Radnet, Meditech, HBO Star and Misis for radiology.
All of those are compatible with Shorthand.
Does Smart Type work with Docuscribe? sm
entertaining an offer and need to know about this. Thank you.
I work on Docuscribe (not MQ) and have also worked on Chartscript in the past. My line counts went
down significantly when I went to the DQS platform. Don't know if it is being manipulated or not, just simply stating the facts as I have seen them.
Does the MQ DQS program contain the ShortCuts program, or do I need to buy it? nm
nm
DQS is not a "Medquist" program, it is a program used by MQ. (nm)

You can't program everything into ....sm
an expander (like you said)...and frankly I've found that on most dictators I do minimal editing of reports because the quality of the drafts is pretty darned good. I usually receive at least a handful of reports a day that I maybe make 2 or 3 Keystrokes of corrections... yet I get paid for editing say 60 lines for the entire report, and move on to the next report. I bet none of you "naysayers" will be fussing about getting paid for not doing more than reading when you actually do editing with a good VR program!
What VR program do they use?
.
bad program?
I agree with low pay, top heavy management, but what is it about the program that makes it bad. just looking for some exact insight unless you mean because of the way it pays out?? hope this doesn't sound stupid.
thanks.
What is NTI's program?
.
program
Yes you can download in batches of 5 but to complete one and go to the next i believe you have to be online or you get some funky error message.
Which IM program are they using?
Most of them have security features that you can change so that you may save conversations.
Or I would agree with the previous poster and use the print screen feature. You don't have to actually print anything, but use it to copy the conversation and paste it into Word.
AIM program
I was in the AIM program. Basically you work as an intern and do real work from real doctors with a Turn Around Time that has to be met just like if you had a job. You just don't get paid. I liked Deb. She was a nice lady. I stayed in the AIM program for 6 months and got a job before I even finished it.
You don't say what program you were using or what
foot pedal. You may have a foot pedal that wasn't compatible with your program or you needed to download drivers.
SUM program
Maybe buy this program and work through it on your own?
What is the VR program they use? nm
nm
prn program?
Haven't heard about this. When did this happen, only for some accounts or what, do you know? TIA!
Not from CNS, but another EMR program.
NextGen
I am not sure about the program
I don't time myself by the hour. I would usually do about 2000 lines during my shift. I only did about 1700 of speech lines and 225 of regular today. I get up and down a lot during my shift, so lose some time there, but I have always done that. What exactly do you mean by hot keys? TT pays slightly more than that, about 1/2 of my regular line rate. I get to the end of my shift and cannot believe my line count is so low.
what program do you use? nm

Program
I love Instant Text ... I have been using it for years...
What program do they use?

aim program
I went through the aim program recently. I waited 6 months to get a spot, but it was worth it. i was able to get feedback and improve my accuracy and my mentor was a really nice lady. The lady running it is changing accounts currently and when she is done is planning on getting more mentors. You can also look around for local companies who will mentor onsite in the meantime, and then if you don't have any luck, you are still on the list for then when a spot opens up. They do a really good job. :)
program is good
Pay is low for interns but promise good pay if your performance improves. Except for one or two QAs who are strict, they are good, and yes, they are totally upfront with their employees. It also helps that the feedback system is quick.
Meditech program at MDI-MD..sm
I remember transcribing into Meditech at MQ (before their new platform). I think that was DOS.
I will be working for MDI-MD and the program will be Meditech. Does anyone know if they have DOS or Windows? I saw a very positive comment by another MT about Meditech Windows. I hope that's where I'm heading!
Thanks!
The platform for this program is definitely
not the best. I could not make any money on it.
Their program stinks!
x
there is a short cut program in DQS which
I think is perfectly adequate. I guess others supplement it, but I don't see the need personally.
Medquist's New Program
DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE NEW Medquist PROGRAM WE ALL RECEIVED A LETTER ABOUT IN THE MAIL, IE., HOW IT WILL EFFECT SE's?
MQ's New Rewards Program
One thing, now vision program they are adding for enhanced benefits. Another, after reading this board, new hires get more per line if they meet the 98% accuracy, otherwise say goodbye to your tier pay and bonuses. That is my educated guess.
