Diskriter pay tier scale decent?
WN
Any of the former or current employees, can you make decent money there?
Thanks
Who has decent health insurance?
I just got notice from TransHealth that they are changing our (already sucky) insurance in two weeks to an even suckier plan. I cannot afford a $1000 deductible. If I had that lying around, I wouldn't need to work!!!
Is there any company out there with a decent FAMILY healt insurance plan that won't cost $1000 a month in premiums?? I have 10+ years of acute care and multispecialty experience with 99% accuracy. Why can't I insure my family!?
The insurance rates are the same for everyone who
signs up for that particular coverage. If you are signing up for employee only it will obviously be the lowest cost. If you add children and/or spouse and/or family coverage, those are all different coverage plans and each has a cost.
The benefits for Spheris are not negotiable. Therefore, if $202 was what they told you would be the cost of your insurance, then everyone who has the same coverage will pay that same rate.
about insurance rates
A Tennessee-based MT company has decided to go with a high deductible insurance policy with a well-known insurance company. It is going to cost the employees $2500 out of pocket before Blue Cross covers any medications. It will cover the $20 copay to the doctor, but not medicines. Is this right or way off base? Would like some info on what others think.
insurance rates
Can anyone tell me the cost of health insurance at Alltype? Does anyone know of a company that has AFFORDABLE health insurance? My company has a deductible of $5000. I may as well go without insurance I am just trying to stay alive here. Thanks in advance.javascript:editor_insertHTML('text','');
Can anyone recommend a co. that has decent family insurance.
I cannot afford to stay working for the company I am presently with. Low to no work and the family insurance rates are over $700 a month. I have over 13 years of experience and I am hoping there is a company out there that rewards that with decent benefits.
How about insurance rates for emp + spouse? sm
Also, their line requirements for FTE?
How are the medical insurance rates?
Did they go up too? They were interested in me a couple of months ago, but I did not call them because I had already picked someone else. I know they are great, but did their insurance rate for employee and children, or family go up like everyone else? I am considering contacting them again. Although I don't want to change jobs at all, if their rates are good I won't have to spend most of my paycheck on medical. Please someone let us know here. It is an important issue!
I'd check insurance rates
I'd check how much it would be to buy insurance for yourself and then you can compare the two rates better. I can buy health insurance on my own cheaper than the premiums that many companies offer, so I take the higher IC pay and buy insurance on the side.
Companies are hardly offer FT employees any decent benefits so I think is going to be rare to find
them for PT employees. I would love that too, unfortunately, I work too much just to get below average benefits. Best of luck in your search. Honestly, I think the only place you'll find benefits for part-timers is going in-house at a hospital.
The current insurance is not bad. The coverage is decent, and they pay which is good. sm
I actually hope that they don't change, but I know that it is a big hassle for the office because they are in the middle. Too big to be individual coverage rates and too small for the best rates. I talked with the HR manager, and she told me that the rates they were given for one company tripled once all the worksheets were in. They based the price on the worst case scenario or worst health. Now they can get a flat rate but only if half of the FT employees sign up. I could here the frustration in her voice when I was talking to her. Insurance companies do not always play fair.
Keystrokes' insurance was not canceled. They are looking for better rates and coverage sm
in more states as Unicare is not in every state. I have Unicare with them and while it is a little on the high side IMO, it is less than what my husband's non-MT job offers for our family of 5.
They are not working on it long after their insurance is canceled. They are working to change, which can be done at any time although preferably at the beginning of a year or quarter.
And by the way, your grapevine is not that great. You should check facts before posting something that makes it look like they don't have any insurance.
Axolotl insurance. They have great rates but what is the coverage
like? Can anyone tell me what insurance company they use and what your experience has been? TIA
TransTech health insurance rates for 2008
I thought I had found the perfect job in Transtech. My bubble just popped. Anybody else out there in cardiac arrest right now over the just published rates for open enrollment. As I need a family plan, unless they can come up with something quickly (she said they are searching for some better options), I will have absolutely no paycheck to speak of.
I hate to consider leaving, but it is a strong consideration!
Sorry..I meant to say I called into the insurance company but forgot to ask about rates! (nm)
How much are single insurance rates???? Webmedx, Axolotl, Keystrokes, TT, Transend?
Thanks for the info!
diskriter employees - sm
anything for MT week??? Just curious - I didn't, but I see that they gave out an American Express gift cheque as a prize.
Any Diskriter employees out there?
I see some old post 2004 on this company but does anyone work with or have any bad or good experiences they wish to share. They have posted a weekend shift I'm curious about. Can email if you wish. Thanks in advance.
Diskriter employees?
Save yourself time, ask if there are any EX-Diskriter employees out there, you will get more answers, faster!!
Even Diskriter employees have to
have the drug test, background check, etc. Not just the employees they hire for the hospital.
Current employees of Diskriter
Can people who currently work for Diskriter email me? I was offered a position there yesterday and want to talk to someone who is there now and can offer some insight on this. Thanks in advance.
Current Diskriter employees
I am looking to chat with people who currently work at Diskriter. I have seen a lot about this company good and bad and want to talk with someone who works there at the present time.
Diskriter used to have something in place like this, too, regarding NY employees. Had to

Any DiskRiter employees on M-Modal yet?
Anybody switched over to this platform yet? How is it?
Are there any current Diskriter Employees here?
I would like to hear from anyone currently working for Diskriter. I am not interested in hearing from former employees at this time as I have read the archives, which is why I would like to hear opinions from current employees or recent new hires only. Thanks!
Any Diskriter employees out there? You happy with them? nm
Any info from an insider appreciated. Thanks.
Diskriter Florida hospital employees
Would anyone that works for the Florida hospital as a hospital employee through Diskriter care to share their experience? Any info is appreciated, good or bad. Thanks! Have a great and productive day!

Diskriter insurance. Wow!
I do not work for Diskriter, but I think I probably will soon. I just wanted to post here that everyone is always complaining about ridiculous rates we have to pay for insurance and the crappy coverage (A very ligitimate beef in my opinion) and wondering who has reasonable rates with good coverage. Their insurance rates are phenomenal and their coverage is out of this world as far as copays and coinsurance are concerned. I currently work directly for a hospital (Should have the best coverage right ? - WRONG!) My premiums will be less and coinsurance WAY less than what I pay now.
Diskriter insurance
Diskriter has great insurance with BCBS. I pay about $350 per month for family policy with $500 deductible and 100% coverage. There is, however, a $75 copay for office visits. This may be pricy for some, but the coverage is great. They do offer less expensive polcies with less coverage too.
Diskriter or TransTech for insurance...sm
I'm curious about the insurance rates for a family of 4 for these 2 companies and if you can you make a decent wage to help pay for these insurance premiums? I worked at one place that had pretty good insurance but had a tough time making enough money to pay for it (and still pay my bills, etc). Any info would be great -- thanks!
How long does it take for Diskriter insurance to take
I'm talking about health insurance for Diskriter employees, not their hospital accounts.

Question for MQ employees that carry insurance. sm
What happens if you don't make your line rate in a pay period?
Does MQ let you go? Or do you work "off the clock" and not report your hours so you can meet your rate?

How is Transcend/MDI's medical insurance plan for employees?
Thanks
All KS MTs are employees, no ICs anymore. I have Aflac and regular insurance. sm
I chose the $500 deductible for the regular insurance and have Aflac for supplemental accident and disability, which is taken out pre-tax. I had Aflac through the hospital I was at and loved it. I was happy when Keystrokes started with them.
To Keystrokes employees: Has anyone heard anything about when a new, less expensive insurance (sm)
is starting? I was told by a valid source it was to be February 1 but it apparently didn't happen then. Has anyone else heard a different date? TIA.
Are there any companies out there that offer benefits to PT employees, such as health insurance?
I know it's a rarity but I know hospitals do.
Does any company offer insurance to part'time employees? nm
xxx
Unless something has changed, health insurance rates vary state by state, so we may not have the
info you need. I'm an IC so I don't have benefits.
When I find decent people who know the value of decent wages, I will!

Thanks. Can you make any decent pay with them and are the accounts decent. What is your feeling
that. Thank you.
Why so very few comments regarding Diskriter? Are comments by employees not permitted SM
on public forums. I have always been interested to see comments on this company, as they are constantly advertising and seem to have an attractive employee package. Unfortunately, never seeing comments on MT boards makes me extremely uneasy. I'm sure they could have stipulations in their contracts that prevent them from commenting, but even so I would expect to see good or bad comments even from ex-employees. Hmmm? Plus, if the anonymity is supposed to be in place on these boards, how can it hurt for employees to make a general comment, good or bad?
401k funds are protected by govt insurance similar to the insurance
that banks have (FDIC). It is safe even if the company goes under.
The insurance cost is double for Transcend but insurance probably doesn't factor in for her.
I have heard more good things about Axolotl than Transcend, although it seems Axolotl may be less flexible with your schedule and someone told me that QA was pretty strict, which should not matter either if you have worked for a hospital and know what your QA score is.
Oh for sure employees, but not too often for statutory employees. Sorry for confusion.

Attn: Any Transcend employees or former employees
I have been offered a job with Transcend, but I am not completely sure about it yet and I need some input from you guys. I have read positives and negatives regarding this company but alot of it was pretty old information. Can anyone give me some recent feedback on them? Thanks very much!!!
The insurance plan in my opinion is excellent insurance. I am not sure if it will change when it'
time to renew or not. I really hope not but I know that a lot of companies change every year in an effort to keep costs down because most insurance companies start raising rates after you have been with them a year. The insurance is Great West and they also have excellent dental and vision plans. I believe the cost is less than $70 a pay period for the employee.
