Did you see the nephrology IC ad for 6 cpl?

They want to pay 6 cpl for training and 7 once an IC.  They can keep it and I hope that if any new MT decides to take it they realize that even if they make 200 lines an hour, which is very high for training, they're still only going to bring home $290 a week after they take out their own taxes.  That's not even considering all your own supplies, no benefits, no paid time off, etc.  Do you really want the kind of stress that comes with this job when you could be making the same amount working as an entry-level clerk in almost any office?

6 cpl job ad still begging for a nephrology IC - sm
Looks like they still haven't found someone who wants to work for peanuts while training the EMR and then will be out of a job after that. Too bad.
A local nephrology office - NM

I do acute care, radiology, and nephrology..
I get paid more doing radiology specialty. I get paid 11 cpl for acute care including OPs. Radiology pays me differently, and I seem to make more in a shorter time with radiology.

Nephrology pays me 9 cpl, but I guess because the reports are shorter, I can push more through at a quicker rate rather than being on an acute care report a little longer.
I'm sorry, I should have said I work as an employee for a local nephrology office
I tried working for a National, but it wasn't a good fit for me because I didn't like the fact that I had to work holidays and weekends. And yes, I know that sick people don't take vacation days and there's work 24/7, but it just wasn't the job for me. I love my 9-5 job. I guess that's probably the only way that MT's don't have to work weekends and holidays, by working for local doctors.
