and the only difference between our group and yours is the platform. We are working under Webmedx policies and management is all from WMX. I was happier when we were TransHealth. The company is very money-driven now and we are treated like nameless and faceless people.

a friend of mine went from Acusis to MDI. Like I told her, at least she knows what to expect this go round. Bottom line for you MDIers.. Don't believe a word that comes out of their mouths going forward. IMHO.

I refuse to work for a company who is going to lower our compensation rates, send our work out to India or do a majority of it VR....no way!!
With all the extra I time I put into MDI because we would receive countless emails about helping out, that she is helping us save our jobs BS, I refuse to go with another company that is looking for someone to work for pennies. Reading prior posts, it does not seem TranscendMTs are really happy with their company. I refuse to sell my soul to the devil like Dorothy did!

Has anyone from MDI quit without giving any notice, since the merge announcement? I'm not sure if I should give notice or just quit right away and start new job. Thanks
MDI/Transcend merge
What may be Transcend's pay scale obviously isn't the same as MDI's pay scale. So, you think it would be fair if they dropped MDI employees line rate to match Transcend's scale? Sorry, I strongly disagree. I don't consider the MDI employees new people either. We didn't just wake up one day with the great idea to move to a new company and start at the bottom again.

Transend acquistions
I was sold toTranscend as part of a package as well. I was happy with all of the personnel (QA, team leads etc) in my previous company..........good responses to IMs, emails etc. They have left now Trascend for other opportunites. Honestly I am not sure why, but cannot imagine it was because they were happy.
Transend/MDI pay cuts
To all Transcend MTs, I am syaing without any form of hostility, welcome to our world. I am wondering if any of you have the answers to the questions us MDIers have been asking: Is IC still an option? Will be be limited to a 40-hour work week? Will our schedule include 1 weekend day EVERY weekend? What happens if we can't (because of lack of work) meet our commitments? Can we expect a cpl drop? Will we be forced to VR? Will we have a set schedule or can we work when we want? How is the current work flow, is there enough for everyone? What percentage of work is being outsourced and what are the projections for next year?
