Depends on your accounts I guess.

I have been running in and out, but still manage to work a full day. Absolutely love it here.

I find the sound quality not so great on some accounts. I guess it depends on what account you get
on.
Depends on the VR I guess.
It's always a little slower when you first start an account, but once I'm used to an account I was edit up to 650 lph at 4 cpl.  There are people who can do more than that but I think more starts getting missed after that point.  I can straight type around 180-200 lph.
guess it depends
on your experience and what you'll settle for. I always ask for more.
Guess it depends
on who your account lead is, mine is lousy. Pay is always on time and correct but other things going on I dont particularly care for. Do like the company tho so will try and get on another account. I really think the issue is with the lead.
I guess it just depends
on all the variables for each person, i.e. account they are on, doctors dictating, and how fast they can acclamate to a new program? What about Lee Perfect. Any comments on the company?
I guess it depends on who you are doing it for - sm
I did prn work last year for .10 a line, it was all overflow. I was quite happy with .10 though. It was not stat work, just do it when you can and get it done as soon as you can of course. It was not difficult work (DS) and I made up templates which made it even more of a money maker for me. So I made some extra cash and got paid more than I do normally. It was a win-win for me. They know they can rely on me if they have more overflow in the future.
I guess it depends on where you are located

It also depends on how much experience you have and how you manage your time.  It is easy to become a work-a-holic in this field.  However, if you gain experience, and choose wisely you will make great money.  There must be an interest though not just a way to stay home.  There are so many variables and also what one person considers decent and what another considers decent can be two different things.

I guess it just depends on where you work
I get a yearly raise automatically after a short evaluation in the office.
I guess it depends on what your error was.

guess it depends on the account

my primary and my backup both have frequent OT.   I am part time and no, no PTO.

I guess it all depends on the type of EMR used..sm
I worked in a multispecialty clinic that went to the point and click/template EMR. My work gradually dwindled until I was let go 4 months later.
sorry to hear that. I guess it depends on the account
just like anything else. Some hospital accounts use several services, so the quality of drafts will differ from poor to excellent, depending on who works on the account.

Overall, I love the platform and it is very user friendly.
ouucchh. i thought $1.25 was low. lol guess it depends
i know i wouldn't type for that. however, some may be thrilled with that rate.

Well I guess it depends on what account you get on because I have set schedule (nm)

Depends on where your accounts are because
The Northeast has been hit hard by flooding. My accounts are all in areas that have roads washed out or under water, so I doubt that patients will want to venture out until things get better.
Maybe it depends what accounts...sm
you are hired to do??? I am not totally sure. The ad I am reading states flexible schedule, IC or full time, nothing about Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat.
Guess you don't want to keep accounts or

get new accounts? You'd rather see TT go down the tubes? How do you think new accounts come on line? You think management just sits there waiting for the accounts to come to the MTSOs?

Get real. Part of the job of a recruiter is probably getting new accounts, traveling and doing a marketing promo for the company.

You should worry about doing a good job so they can keep the accounts rather than blaming everything on TT. If they lose accounts, we all lose. MT'g is the backbone of a company and if no one cares what kind of work they do and just look for the almighty dollar, then there's a problem.

TT has been very good to me and I'm staying through good and bad. Sooner or later, you all naysayers will wish you didn't bad-mouth TT.

Before you come back and say I'm management, hold your tongue. That's always somebody's opinion if they aren't happy or don't like an answer given on this board against a company. There are a few of us that are VERY happy at TT. I am one of them.

Running out of work is new at TT. This year is the first time I've been low on work in the few years I've been there.  My last lob was horrendous, always out of work, 95% ESL, high quota, you name it, that was it. I'm still proud to say I'm a TT'r and will remain so as long as they need me.

I suppose it depends on what accounts you are on
All of my accounts have been over loaded with work this past month. I'm currently doing 2500 lines a day. Maybe your friend should ask about getting more backup accounts added to her queue.
I guess you have to vacation when your accounts
Coverage is too risky because that person gets their foot in the door, and it is a dog eat dog world.  The docs are great and I guess that's important.
my guess: 1 is accounts they have and 2 is overflow.
cc
I suppose it depends on which accounts have openings. nm
nm
I stand corrected. Guess all accounts are not
created equal and sounds like you have a good one.
QA per-line pay? Guess that accounts for all the nitpicking...sm

If they have to make their lines, they'll nitpick you to death with their corrections du jour.  And back and forth amongst them, if there's nothing there they'll find something there.

Hmm, guess they have openings for certain people on certain accounts...nm
xxx
Depends on the account for which you are hired, my accounts are low occasionally but usually with a
couple of backup accounts and doing all work types, you can do fine.
Biggest problem with MQ is they put too many people on the accounts and guess what. You either have
nothing or keep going into multiple accounts which presents its fair share of problems plus big time QA problems and quality problems and MQ wonders why they lose accounts. They STILL dont understand it is better for everyone including the client for the MTs to be familiar with the account. They just dont get it and I guess never will.
Hourly pay, great benefits, schedule depends upon which accounts...sm
you are QAing.  Solid company.  Good luck!
Too many variables to count. A lot depends on shift, accounts, what types of work you do. (sm)

I can be totally out of work on my 2 accounts and pull up backlog report and see some accounts have OT offered.

Every company has some employees totally satisfied with amount of work and some who run out totally.

Like I said, many, many variables to be figured in.

I've easily done 600, but it depends on the way a company counts lines and it depends on the
dictators. Obviously, if you have a good share of ESL, there is no way you could ever do 600 or 700. On really difficult ones, I usually run around 400 lines an hour and I have been working on this platform for 3 years.
Are they losing accounts. Do most of their accounts stay for long period of time. I have
heard pros and cons about the quality of their work.  I guess it is much cheaper than other companies can offer.
Because the girls that monitor the accounts in the office were told the accounts either go on DQS or
move on. All accounts to be with MQ must be on DQS and no more different platforms. ONE ONLY DQS. They can send more work overseas then.
MDI-FL but not all accounts. Only the internet-based ones. C-phone accounts are fine.

So, yes, let me clarify before everyone gets in an uproar.. There is work IF you want to use a C-phone. IF you signed up for an account that is internet-based, you will be disappointed. Not enough work to go around. Just my personal preference.. I have no desire to do a dial-up C-phone account using my long distance.

Some do and have good accounts and fully loaded ESL accounts
Take a look at what is happening in India. For the first time, workers there have money to get themselves into debt by buying high priced items (cars for example). They now protest lower castes being allowed into universities at almost double the previous allowance. Wait until they are highly in debt, begin to feel entitled to a wage equal to that paid inthe US and then, try to form unions, get tossed out into the street and sit back with some Ben and Jerry ice cream and watch the economy collapse and all that dictation come back across the ocean. Timing is everything.
Find out which accounts they are hiring for. They have some ESL accounts that are extremely
difficult to do.  I dont know how many accounts they have altogether but as I say, a few are very difficult and I actually dont have a problem with ESLs but these accounts are almost totally ESL.  I dont do them anymore.
Well it sounds like no work happens a lot at DSG. How are the accounts as far as decent accounts
and their QA.
Different accounts have different platforms. Most accounts require sm
high speed but I am not sure if satellite is OK.

I don't think that they're hiring right now. I spoke with my lead on Thursday, who said they are focusing on making sure everyone has enough work and moving PTers to FT, eventually moving towards FT only with only weekends as PT. Not 100% sure when that is though.
Hmm..well it goes to show how different it can be between accounts. My "high" ESL accounts s
at WMX are pretty easy in my opinion as well. I wish I had a better answer for you. Hang in there if you can. You have to do what is right for you.
Six accounts?!?! That is nuts! I am on 3 accounts. nm

Well, it depends on what you need and are looking for - sm
do you want employee status, need benefits, need equipment supplied by company or do you want IC status, your own schedule, no benefits, and a good line rate?

There are many good companies out there, and even Transcend is a good company in some MTs eyes.

What are you looking for?
4.65 to 5.10 cpl. Depends on whether you
get 55% or 60% of your base salary.  You will starve to death only doing 1100 lines a day.  That would be $51.15 to $56.10 a day,.
Depends.
I've talked with MTs who have said that MQ dumped them immediately upon giving notice, and they're anxious about getting on somewhere else immediately. I've talked to others who have had MQ offer them the moon and all nearby planets, with interest, to stay. I'm not talking 2 or 3 people here, but dozens. I'm not sure what the motivating factor is behind their decisions, because some of the best MTs I've seen have been ousted immediately. Go figure. Might depend on your office and the work load.
Depends
one person will tell you one thing, the next person will tell you another.  I think the company I work for is THE best but then you might not agree.  You kinda just have to find what works for YOU and you won't really know that until you try it.
Depends on what day it is.
I use a lot of "normals" and shortcuts.  I make at least $20 per hour, that is on a regular day.  I have made as much as $65 an hour.  I get $15 an hour for PTO.
Well, depends
My requirement used to be 4000 lines (Foxboro office). Now I am at Columbus office and requirement is 4000+ lines, but also must work 20 hours a week, so that would put me at over 10000 lines a payperiod.
also depends
it also depends on the accounts, most of the accounts for one small MTSO do not have paragraphs, straight typing thru the complete report.
I'm sure that depends on what one...
has to offer, as it does with most companies.  :)
Depends..
on if you have write offs or not.  I was an IC for years and then went outside the home to work.  When coming back to home base, I found it not to be an advantage anymore because I had no write offs and didn't want to open up Pandora's box with itemizing again.
It just depends..
It depends on what state you are in and how many employees are working in that state to determine if you are eligible for health benefits.  With my state, there are only about 2 employees that work for FutureNet, so I am not eligible for health benefits.  As for incentives, they have great incentives.  You get 15% bonus every weekend, and 17% and 20% holiday bonuses.  So they are fair with what they offer.  Their pay is good; better than other places that I know of.  And, again, they are really great to work for.  You may be in a state that has several employees with them.  I would just ask them.  They are quick to tell you what you need to know.  Hope this helps.
I think it depends.....
If you have a wide-open screen, like MS Word, or WordPerfect, that allows you to set formats, change fonts, etc. I think it will work. It is my understanding that I-chart is a series of different boxes on the screen in different locations, so you are very significantly limited in your text inputting. But then again, IT works with Meditech, should be able to work with I-Chart, shouldn't it?
Depends
Where did she go to school? I know a lot of companies that will hire newbies if they went to one of the big 3 schools.
Depends
I worked for them and they are great to work for but very picky. They would not pay for jobs under 98%. I would be interested to know what they are paying these days too.
