Deliveries?

In Reply to: I make around 4,000 a month, but - I do not work Friday or Saturday - on the norm.
I don't believe you.
What do you have to deliver?
Your typed reports or the cassettes or what? Like delivering pizza?
How old fashioned. I wonder that you really make so much money in this old fashioned style. Ever heard something of electronic digital voice files?
Don't you even have a TAT?
How long is it? From delivery to delivery?

I do deliveries ...
and trust me, I can produce at least 3x as much on my tapes and Word Perfect as I can with any digital file or any platform!! I've tried several and I personally can't.
I will stay with tapes and deliveries as long as I can. If it ain't broke - don't fix it is my motto. If my clients are happy, and I am happy, I don't see anything wrong with being old fashioned, especially if I make much more money that way! JMHO, to each his own ...
deliveries
I still pick up and deliver my work. Honestly, I do not know why you care so much about what she does or how she makes her money, she simply answered a question that was posed by an individual. I have worked for the same orthopedics locally for over 7 years now. I earn 11.5 cpl, but I do pick up and print my work. I easily crank out 500 lines an hour, as I have typed for them for over 7 years, and I still type in Word, and I do not have to deal with any on-line formats or wait for computers to type in info for me. It is a trade off. I have worked on a part-time account online on Emdat/Inscribe, as well as Bayscribe, and I prefer working in Word typing 3x faster. Trade off for me is I have to travel 20 minutes a round trip a day to pick up, and I still have to print. Compared to making 8 cpl online typing on a platform with an extra 2 to 3 minutes per patient, again I consider it a trade off for my delivery and printing time, except I type 137 patients a day, and I only travel 20 minutes a day, and if I was typing online with an extra 2 to 3 minutes per patient you do the math.
Deliveries are only made twice a week.
like these national companies. The national companies promise it to get the accounts, and hardly ever deliver on that promise. I do not deliver pizza or I'd be on a different board called PizzaStars!
Tapes are old fashioned, but the money still is green and spends like digital money!
