Worked for MQ for over 12 years. Once was a good company to work for, then a couple of years ago things started going bad. As far as the picky question goes, MQ is not picky at all, unless things have changed since April, when I finally gave notice and went to WMX. At that point, I hadn't had a QA in almost 2 years. Also hadn't had a raise in over 6 years. Accounts went almost entirely ASR, and good dictators could not be found, always typing ESLs (I personally think the good stuff was going to India, but have no proof of this, of course). Then the national pool started, where you had to learn 15-20 new client profiles every day. Then next ones again the next day. My pay went down by about half, with all the problems/changes. Then, when I worked my hiney off for a great bonus they had going on, only to find out that they deducted my bonus from my usual incentive, that was the last straw for me, I left.
Webmedx is great, I have had absolutely no complaints with this company. Everybody is friendly, work is great, pay is very fair, incentive is good, schedule is fair, 12-hour window to do my work, platform is good. They have been MT employee of the year in 2006 and again in 2008. My pay is back to where it was when MQ was a good company to work for, and even above. I can sleep nights again, no more tears while working. WMX does, however, expect 98% or above for QA. Which is fine with me, they give plenty of help to make sure you can keep that score. You can look at old reports by the same dictator or on the patient on their system, which helps me immensely.
Good luck to you, whichever you decide!
