and fairly inexpensive. For employee pay, it isn't too bad.

I think I read somewhere that Deventure has Blue Cross insurance? If so what is the cost for single and also family? What is their lpd requirement? TIA!

You didn't miss much not going with Deventure.
Whether you have 2 days or 20 years of experience, pay is the same - go wrap your head around that. No raises EVER. Never got the yearly bonus myself and never got a signon bonus. There is some minimal shift differential for second and third but then those shifts include weekends. Got too many accounts too fast and nobody - but nobody - is or was on top of this. Promoting some and leaving vital positions unfilled while hiring to replace them is taking forever. If you have 3 accounts (which is typical and all with different specifics), and in my case with an agreement between myself and HR that I could work outside of your schedule on one that I could build up my line count, they blocked me from my higher producing account while working off my shift, so I would work on their most difficult and less line producing account that was about to TAT and after 2 years of service with them. Did I mention, situation agreed upon with HR and once again, on my own time, outside of my shift? GRRR. Doubt it will take long to replace Deventure job with a more organized and fair company with better pay. But then again, there is always Walmart, and I'm not kidding.

I think you're correct. We have to accept that MDI owners have the right to do what they please with their business. I'm VERY sorry to lose MDI, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
BUT.... The WAY in which D handled it was truly horrible. In my opinion, they were devious and sneaky, leaving the work pools empty and saying nothing for weeks. All that time, I figured they had hired extra people for a new account that was supposedly coming on board, and that the new girls had to have some work until their account was up and running. So I just tried to be patient about it. Now, I feel like they made a total patsy out of me.
We did not deserve to be treated the way we were in this deal. We helped to make D a multi-millionaire with our love of her company and our loyalty and skills. She owed us better treatment than she gave us. That's for sure.
Cancel that. I am going to look at others now.
Thanks for all the research you helped me with here, and thanks to MT stars archives. I just saved a lot of headaches, and although need to do more research, appreciate everyone's feedback.
I already have insurance through my husband's job, so I didn't need it.

401k funds are protected by govt insurance similar to the insurance
that banks have (FDIC). It is safe even if the company goes under.
The insurance cost is double for Transcend but insurance probably doesn't factor in for her.
I have heard more good things about Axolotl than Transcend, although it seems Axolotl may be less flexible with your schedule and someone told me that QA was pretty strict, which should not matter either if you have worked for a hospital and know what your QA score is.
The insurance plan in my opinion is excellent insurance. I am not sure if it will change when it'
time to renew or not. I really hope not but I know that a lot of companies change every year in an effort to keep costs down because most insurance companies start raising rates after you have been with them a year. The insurance is Great West and they also have excellent dental and vision plans. I believe the cost is less than $70 a pay period for the employee.

But no work, no pay. Nice ppl, they really are, some of the nicest in the business. Just can't communicate to save their lives and the recruiters are lying dogs.
I'd say if you're looking for part-time work, as in less than 20 hrs a week's worth of work, then this place is for you. Use them as ur backup. Because guaranteed that's all they're using you for.

The insurance seems like they don't want to cover anything, even simple prescriptions I used to pay 4 or 10 dollars on I now pay 20 to 43 dollars. I like the company/people so far, just don't like the insurance.

MTSO, which MTSO it is and whether the coverage is decent? I currently pay $92.00 a pay period for decent coverage but am trying to figure out if I am getting a good deal or if I could do better elsewhere.

Nice people, but I found their platform to be rather tedious and time-consuming. Also very strict on scheduling and I needed more flexibility.

I see unanswered posts about Deventure and thought I would give my opinion. I am new there, but impressed. Setup was extremely smooth and recruiter, supervisor, and tech people are on the ball. Good feedback and encouragement. Great accounts and not-so-great accounts. The constant ads are because they are adding new accounts by the minute.

I work part-time for DeVenture and you have you use your own computer. They did not provide me with a foot pedal either. They pay 4 cpl for editing.

I really thought this was going to be a great company to work for until the Recruiter/QA supervisor tried to cover herself/save face by telling a blatant lie. The end. So, be careful and watch your back. Sometimes it is those who initially seem so nice and helpful that end up being not so honest.
