Okay, I'm not sure if I've been duped or if I'm simply jumping to conclusions here, but I did a great deal of work for this company last week. I was told that they paid every Friday and that they cut checks every Thursday. I haven't received my check yet, which should've been here Saturday, but I know how the postal service can be.
Also, they were supposed to send me more work Friday, but never did. In fact the last thing I heard from them was, I'll send you XXX minutes of dictation this afternoon, which was Friday morning and I haven't heard a thing since then. I've e-mailed them and called them Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and this morning (Monday). They usually answer their phone, but I was not able to contact them. I just got a machine and left a message, of course.
I sure hope that I'm wrong here, but I've got a real bad feeling about this. You know the, been there, done that panicky feeling you get after being burnt? Has anyone else had experience with this company?
