On the accounts that went totally self-edit, did you receive any warning from the client, or your employer? I'm just trying to determine if Powerscribe trainers are discouraging clients from telling MTSOs what is going on until after the decision is made to make the MTs obsolete, or if the MTSOs generally are told and don't give any warning to their MTs. On the thread we had last week (now on next forum page), one person said she had experienced this problem with 2 different clients at 2 different MTSOs as far as duplicity and confusion as to where the work went, and then jobs were eliminated.
I'm just trying to understand how often this happens and the way it normally happens. I don't know if Powerscribe is being mainly marketed to clients as a means to dump your MTs entirely, or if they're pushing that option as a sales feature. But I would appreciate any input you have, so I can understand this better.
