cable internet adding digital phone service is no big deal.  You just use a different modem and they put a box on the outside of your house with her existing phone equipment and otherwise you plug your phone into the jack just like always.   They should offer the service and they usually have something where you plug in your phone number and it will say if service is available for you number.  You can then sign up on-line or call them.  They handle everything with the phone company if you decide to keep your same number.

Everything that posted on here is true. They are a good company.  They try to put you where your strengths are.  There is ALWAYS plenty of work, ALWAYS!  The pay is a little above average of other places, no benefits though.  That is the only downfall with them.  I believe if they offered PTO and other benefits, people would really put in LOTS more effort and really stick with them for the long-haul because they could not be beat otherwise.  You can't go wrong with them if you mind NOT having benefits.

PTO is generous, more than any other company I have ever been with, starts at 96 hours a year and goes up from there (this is to use for sick days, days off, and can be used on an an hour by hour basis).

Not sure about insurance since I don't need it, but I know they just switched companies and it is now much more reasonable than it was before.

Most MTs start at 8 cpl base rate with an incentive for all lines over 6000 in a pay period.  You can also get raises after you've been there awhile if you earn them, but you do have to ask, they don't just hand them out - you have to prove yourself and then justify your request for a raise.

I have been with them a long time, seen all the changes and there has never been a better time to be a Diskriter employee - all the support staff and supervisors who caused problems in the past are all gone - ALL of them.  I have heard the training now is minimal though, but the other MTs are there to help when you need it as well as the supervisor who has an open email and phone policy and only wants to help you.

I have over five years experience in numerous specialities. The last two years I have also completed QA. I am looking to supplement income with new accounts. I would prefer mircocassette or dictaphone accounts but will do others. Please email with any opportunities.

Hi am from Canada, and am looking for a MT job from home.  Currently I work for 20 doctors in Edmonton Alberta and am wanting to work from home so bad. I want to start part time, gradually into full time so I can quit my 9 to 5 job at the clinic.  Any ideas>>>Anyone heard of Superior Global Inc.  I received a phone call from them, it is a 1-800 number I cannot access from Canada.  Go figure!!
