Does anyone know what spell check is used with this and what the name of the Expander is? Is this a word based plateform? Thanks just curious
The problem with Precyse is they use Webcorrect
which is the same as DQS. It's a slow, slow system and very difficult to get any speed going on it.
WebCorrect was their software, don't know if still is. Neg. comments

What companies use DocQscribe or Webcorrect except for that one national? I think there are more
I think there are more companies out there using DocQScribe and Webcorrect, but not sure how to find out. I like working with those programs but there are a couple big companies that I use it that I dont want to work for, so I am trying to find some others who use it. Thanks, I appreciate your help!
Open the Webcorrect file folder, if there are 2 things
called user.aco, that's your expander/macros, and user.Dictionary is the dictionary. You could copy/send them both to a travel drive where you'd at least have them backed up until somebody could help you get it into the new computer.
You can opt just to use their loaded CPU. Can keep

That is a loaded question after today
The people are great. Very professional. The QA is wonderful. The platform is terrific and designed for high productivity although there are frequent periods of downtime, getting less often these days.
Yes you can do an average of 250 lph, just expect to do it FOR 8 HOURS EVERY SCHEDULED DAY, except when you don't have work, and then you are asked to work outside your schedule (basically Wednesday through Friday). If you want to meet your minimum and it takes you less than 8 hours, don't expect a rest until the 8 hours are up, unless there is no work.
The benefits are the best I've seen at any MT company, PTO (sick, vacation, personal) plus paid holidays in addition to any production you do on the holiday. Low cost health premiums with terrific plan coverage.
If you are able to work with them, they will certainly go out of their way to work with you. A very decent employer but like any other employer, it is feast on some days and famine on others.
The company computer comes loaded with whatever
you need to do the job. I guess they figure it is easier to load the computer and then send it to the MT rather than to connect via PC Anywhere or similar program to download the programs. You aren't paying to work for them, you are renting the equipment.
None of our accounts have the work loaded into q's for anyone. sm
I don't mind hearing that someone is not a good fit with Keystrokes or does not like the account they have been given (they can't all be great). The addresses mean that you were on an ortho account. The ONLY reason someone does not like Keystrokes ortho is that the person in charge of ortho is very committed to both high quality and TAT. She keeps a QA score card on every MT under her, keeps a log of missed deadlines and lets people go if they cannot stay up to snuff. There is nothing wrong with that; I wish I could be more like her.
I think there are good companies and bad companies out there and have said many, many times that every company is not a good fit for every MT. If that were the case, there would be no job openings and no one looking for a job. However, the bad companies are the ones that do not pay, rip off the MTs in terms of false line counts, lose accounts all the time and allow cherry-picking. None of that applies to Keystrokes.
It sounds like you were not happy and I feel bad for you as KS is a great place to work!
JLG work loaded in chunks of whatever number sm
to train/QA they send three reports at a time. hope this helps. everyone is very friendly, considerate, and helpful...
Yes, you have to go there to pick up their loaded CPU. Pay wasn't that good, either. nm

Mine does. Just loaded it on my laptop this week.

I know Webmedx has a time clock - with MQ I put laundry in, got coffee, loaded DW (sm)
went to the bathroom, etc. without clocking out and still kept my lines per hour up just fine. With Webmedx do you clock out for all these little things or as long as you get lines per payperiod or per hour it works out?
Some do and have good accounts and fully loaded ESL accounts
Take a look at what is happening in India. For the first time, workers there have money to get themselves into debt by buying high priced items (cars for example). They now protest lower castes being allowed into universities at almost double the previous allowance. Wait until they are highly in debt, begin to feel entitled to a wage equal to that paid inthe US and then, try to form unions, get tossed out into the street and sit back with some Ben and Jerry ice cream and watch the economy collapse and all that dictation come back across the ocean. Timing is everything.
