to someone there without getting a lot of other people involved before I find out what kind of accounts they have to offer. I am interested in transferring from my current office but would like to speak with someone up there first. Even an email address of someone would help.

Call their 800 office number and ask nm.

Provide it to the moderators along with TB's phone number to call. :)

Thank you. I would like to call HUP but I have no idea who to contact in the MR Dept. to talk to. Do
you know the direct phone number to the person in HUP MR because to go through the main number is like trying to call the president.
Does anyone happen to have the number to call Amherst MQ office. Thanks much.
:
Talk to your leads or call the main office to see if you can get a backup account...
I have been there for over a year too and have always had plenty of work...
Get proactive!!! Pick up the phone and call the office?? NM

Can you give me a name of a current person to contact to speak with.
:
Well, give a call to the person who hired you and
negotiate a higher line rate. You should have not problem since you already started and they know what kind of work you can do.
Debbie Hood is the HR person -- give her a call. nm
If you want to know the real scoop, always better to just ask. Someone might pay me $20 a report (okay, in my dreams) and someone else something else. I understand when people come here and want to know things a recruiter or HR person cannot or will not tell you, such as quality and quantity of dictation and dictators, reliability of being paid on time and such. But if you want to know specifics of how much per report/line, what kind of bennies, direct deposit or no, etc ... why not just write an email or pick up the phone and ASK?
This is not meant to be rude or anything. I just am curious. When I signed on with a company, I saw posts saying 10 cpl was the ceiling and a bunch of other user-specific information that had nothing to do with what I was offered. I made 11-1/2 cpl AND they paid my long distance. A lot has to do with bargaining skills and what you have to offer.
JMO.
My only contact with them was rude. The front office person or whomever schedules interviews is rude
This was about a year ago but I set up an interview and either I was supposed to call them or they were to call me at a certain time but I totally spaced off the time change. The lady went off on me and told me that they had no interest in me because I couldn't call on time etc. Rude. There is no way I would ever work for someone like that.
Ohio MQ office
Welcome aboard. I've been with them for 10 yrs, now on DocQscribe, love it, never ever out of work...we need the help desperately
I do some overflow for the Ohio office...
I work out of a different MQ office but have been doing some overflow work for the Ohio office. I only work on one account for their office, but it seems to have a lot of work. Not too many ESL docs, though there are a couple of tough ones. With the account I am on, mostly the dictators just speak very rapidly, but with time I've been able to get more comfortable with them.
Good luck to you!
Ohio office closing
I remember something about MQ consolidating down to just four regional offices, but never heard of the Ohio office closing. Columbus is the only one in Ohio, but I am still curious as to where this info came from?
MQ Ohio office closing
This is to MQ'r--previously on the board there was a posting that the MQ Ohio office was going to be closed at the end of the year, if this is the only office left in Ohio, do you know where you would be transferred to. I thought you would be transferred to another office in Ohio but seeing that this is the only one that is not going to work. From what I have read on the board I would hope that it is not to the Amherst office.
Thanks for the contact number.. I will do that! ... nm
xx
MQ Ohio office closing-why not Amherst
What I don't understand is why they are closing an office that is obviously run very well--I don't think I have every seen anything but good about this office and yet they are closing it and continuing to leave the Amherst office open. What is wrong with this picture!!!!
Something is not right here but yet nothing is being done
Can anyone working for the Ohio MQ office tell me who they are and are the accounts decent to do or
are there a lot of ESLs. Thanks for any info you have.
ETC Office Services. Tammy Coffman out of Ohio.
My friend said she sounded very good and supposedly had direct deposit. Well, she had no deposit and the lady said she would wire the money and apparently did not do that either. I dont like liars.
Have phone number for MDI-MD,
301-236-6770, have not been able to find web site. You can Google U.S. Medical Transcriptionists Directory. It lists transcription companies by state. You'll find MDI-MD there, but gives no web site. Hope this helps.
Do they have a new phone number?
The one in California is no longer valid, the one in Virginia just has a generic we are not available answering machine. What's up? Do you know what's going on?
You must know the office number
Hello there,
I will be at the office all day tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. Would love to talk to you again.
1-800-205-7047
Thanks,
Liz
Thanks for providing the phone number
I saw where you provided a phone number for OSi below. I just called them and ask them to check out your posts. I hope you've enjoyed working there. I also hope your mama knows someone at another MT company.
Transcend phone number
Sorry, I spelled it wrong and of course I meant TRANSCEND. It is Monday morning, after all.
Now you could use the phone number of an acting coach
so immature
Dept. of Labor phone number
For Labor Dept, your point of contact depends on where you live I believe. The number to start with is 866-444-3272. Good luck, and please post if you learn anything new. This has been going on for me for nearly a year and not resolved.
What?! Do you have your number listed in the phone book?
This is the same info they can get out of the phone book, i.e., name, address, and phone number. This is not what they use to commit identify theft. They would use the general information from your resume to phish for more detailed information, such as SS# or bank account/cc account info. This is also what they would get out of your trash if for some reason you don't shred this info before you throw it out. Also, with past employers, they are only allowed to give basic info, such as length of employment and whether you're eligible for rehire. They can be held legally responsible if they give out detailed information about you!
I am very realistic that I'm not immune to identify theft, but also I know the law and know that I shouldn't be paranoid about someone stealing my identity. I take the appropriate steps to protect myself and monitor my credit report frequently.
It says Navesys.com on the reply name by their phone number
I found them on the web, but not their company site. I found a write up they are combined 20 or more years of experience and they have MTs in the US and India. I am still a little afraid to apply, though, since I have never heard of them even on this board. Any input if anyone knows would be appreciated.
That is a shame - maybe he/she will e-mail you again with the resume or phone number. nm

If they weren't Synthescribe, they wouldnt have the same phone number.
regardless of what they SAY.
I do not have access to her phone number. I can just assume she has already hired all the help
she needed, but thanks...
That is the legitimate toll-free phone number
for Transcend. The non-toll-free number is ******. Laurie
I sympathize with you, but did you bother to contact Cobb and talk to them about it?
y
We are growing. You are a person not a number.
We have employees in 18 states and have full bennies. Other states ICs and SEs. Pay is decent with incentives. Good team work. Direct deposit every other Friday. Pay is correct and on time.
WHAT??? I talk to the office almost daily. sm
I lead a few accounts and have been training on a new one that starts in a few days. The phone number has not changed in 5 years and it should still forward from the old one. This site takes off phone numbers if we post them, so please email me.
Not only are they still in business, but still growing. I spoke with someone there today that said that they doubled in size last year and will this year too.
I am just excited about the new insurance!!!!!
You did talk to the person about it too, right?
I have had some rude ones in the past too, but I usually am very upfront and candid with everyone. They know right away if there is a problem and we clear it up right away. Otherwise, I move on quickly. And because this can be such a high turnover job, the MTSOs can become a little rough around the edges over time, expecting way too much and getting very little in return. A lot of people say they can do more than they can. Not that it's right but I take all of that into consideration when dealing with them. Try to go smaller family oriented company if you can.
--It's good you are venting but try not to let yourself get that upset...just let it roll off your back--
I agree, especially when they had to produce a phony number and gave someone's home phone with th
answering machine on. I also feel it's a fishing expedition. I guess we'll all soon find out...
You may want to contact the office....SM
If you are having a hard time getting at least 12,000 lines a pay period, then maybe it is the account that you are on. I would try contacting they office and they should have no problem putting you on a different account to see if that fixes the problem. I got lucky with my 2 accounts and am able to do well over 12,000 a pay period, so I would contact HR. They are usually very good about that sort of thing. Good luck!
contact phone service
Many times it is just pushing a code on your phone - inside cover of phone book. Once they get the complaint from the phone company they should stop - otherwise the cops come knocking - bet they stop then. Just document your contact with them. No further contact by you needs to be done - just keep pushing the code - the more complaints the faster they have the fines levied and possible legal problems.
Just like getting harassing calls from regular Joes - put in a complaint and push he codes - one you tell them to stop if they keep doing it, it is harassment.
Call and talk to them. They have a few.
I am sure they will help you if they can. Unfortunately, most systems require high speed to run properly.
Wait to talk to the recruiter. If the account you are working on requires a C-phone, sm
they will loan you one if they have one available. No sense in spending extra money if you do not have to do so. :-)
Good luck ! I love it at Keystrokes. I have only been there about 4-5 months, but my experience has been a good one. I think you will like it.
We have too much on my account. Call and talk to sm
Martha or Karyn.
Call IT and talk to Marianne; she is
very very helpful and will figure it out
I would call and talk to them. I know that they say 5 years for some positions
and 3 for others BUT I am sure that if you test, they will give you a shot. The worst that they can say is no. They gave me a shot 4 years ago with 8 months experience and I am still there!
It is pretty easy. I would call them and talk to them. sm
Start with HIM Coordinator (starts with B). She's the best.
So maybe this person whose name is on the ad would know who to contact about other transcription
jobs that would be available.
Are they not answering the phone in their office?!! nm
s
Contact one of the big wigs by phone and demand a UPS or FedX pickup. nm

Best advice I can give is talk with your accountant. sm
If you don't have one, seek one out. They would be the best source of reliable tax information.
Call and talk to a recruiter. They would know what openings are on what accounts. nm
.
It's in Lexington. Their contact person is in Illinois, though. nm

Contact the Labor Board, the Attorney General's office,
send them a certified letter with return receipt giving them 10 days from date of the letter to issue you your money. Be sure and keep documentation of everything.
