I've been doing my best to stay away from these boards because I find myself being drawn into arguments or having to defend myself for what I say, feel, or experienced.  I already apologized for my part in the argument the other day, so why do you feel the need to drag me into another one? I still stand by my assertion that the posts by disillusioned and myself were blown out of proportion by a select few in an effort to change the subject, and it worked quite well.  You should feel very proud of your efforts. For a person who is so adamant that it is only the negative posters causing the problem, what is your excuse now for trying to stir something up? Like I said, I don't even work for MDI - I work for Transcend.  This post wasn't from me. Lots of people know how to use the bold and color font function above.  If you know word processing, you know the text effect functions.


Believe me, you made your point the first time you bashed me for talking about my experience.  I really don't want to go through it again and, although flattered, I really don't want a stalker either. You won okay? I will never, ever speak of any of my experiences about Transcend again, good or bad.  So, please, just leave me out of your future bashings.  Thank you.

In another post, you say that you are 3rd shift. There is plenty of work on sm
other shifts. I spoke to my lead last night, and she is getting 3 new accounts to manage and told me that there are more than a dozen starting throughout the next month.

Others will post that work for these companies, there are some great
people that post on this board, you just have to overlook a few.  Unfortunately I do not work at any of these companies, otherwise I would be glad to give you any information needed.  Good luck though!

for?  Yes, I think you are a fraud am I am no jealous in the least.  At least I don't have to lie as a part of my daily business.  You still, an no other  recruiter responding, has had the integrity to post their company name.  No surprise.

she can most likely weed out the MTs just by their posts anyway if she's dealt with them at all. She did the right thing to simply state MDI MTs can come to her IF they have concerns. It's great to share info, but not ALL posts are by sister MTs sharing the good word. There are many, many who love to incite drama and there are always 2 sides to every story! Anyone can come on here and claim they are great MTs and do all that is expected of them yet are treated terribly by a company, but that sure doesn't make it the truth. About how many MTs do you think are at MDI? And how many individual MTs are here complaining? Not the same posters using different names but single persons. Do the math and figure out from that how many are unhappy at MDI, and my bet is your percentage will be low. I know of a lot of MTs very happy at MDI with enough work. But then I'm sure the naysayers will just claim those are the favorites or something.

Do you even have a clue as to how much one cycle of IVF costs? Try 15K to 20K and it takes on average three cycles to achieve conception...if at all. How many people do you know wait until they have $20,000.00 saved before starting a family? Get real.

Not that it's any of your business, having a child was not a mental issue for me. I initially didn't feel that it would be necessary to share the details of what led up to our infertility because I didn't see the relevance. Infertility is what it is. However, if sharing the details will prevent you or anyone else from drawing conclusions and posting abrasive half-truths, then here goes:

My husband, against my wishes, had a vasectomy when our only daughter was 3. Coming from a big family, I always wanted at least two children. Long story short: We went to Texas for the first reversal and Arizona for the 2nd (5 years ago). We spent our entire savings, which was close to 20k and both surgeries failed. My daughter prayed for a baby brother or sister every night. I had this tremendous burden of guilt because our infertility was self-inflicted. I knew she would never be a big sister or even an aunt because of our selfishness.

Infertility in and of itself is traumatic enough, but when it's self-inflicted, the guilt can be overwhelming. At least it was for me.

There, now you have the facts. However, if you find it more entertaining to post over-the-top fabrications about my complete lack of control and severe mental issues, as you called it, knock yourself out.

I have been pretty honest about my personal life and would appreciate it if you could just answer 2 simple questions.

(1) Dou have any children?

(2) In your opinion, do you feel that insurance companies should cover the cost of elective abortions?

You can just answer yes or no. I'm not posting anymore on this thread so you won't get any arguments from me.
If you see a post that needs deletion, please post the link on the Monitor board and we'll

review it.  This way, requests for post deletions won't appear in the newsletter.

Peachy, your post is interesting, but my post now is irrelevent but
A few weeks ago I went to my clinic where they had recently implemented EHR or EMR, whichever you call it, and the doctor's back was to me the whole time he and I conversed because his nose was stuck in his laptop. To me, it felt a little more impersonal, but I understand he was doing what he had to do, but it seems like the bedside manner may go to the wayside if the doctors can't even look at you when they are asking you questions or you are speaking to him/her. I know this is relevant to your original post, but just an interesting fact that I had not anticipated. Anyone else experience this?
This is why I NEVER post my cpl. I'll post the range of
what the company pays, but NEVER what I make.  I know that I make more than probably 70% of the people there, because they know I produce a client ready report and that I can do anything they throw at me.   We don't have levels, but I guess if we did I'd be at the highest level.    Telling how much you make isn't so bad, but when people know what company you work for and then what you make that isn't a good combination.  The ONLY people I have ever discussed what I make with, are my husband and my MTSO owner.   Talking about your salary/pay is enough to get your fired in lots of companies.

the recruiter. Once you are in with the company, the recruiter has nothing to do with you or your job. I want specifics about problems with THE JOB, not the recruiter.  Specifics such as no or late checks, line counts being messed up, no work, taking bennies away with no explanation. Things that matter, not the recruiter.

unless you go through an anonymizer, your IP address can be traced back to you, even through the guises of this web site.  There are web sites you can find on the internet to do this for you, or if you are 18 years old and like to hack, it's an easy enough thing to do.
I post a pay range, DOE; however, most don't post..
I wish some MTs would start thinking about the business aspect of the industry.  For example, this is a public site, so go to Google or another search engine and type [the co's name] and per line, and voila! now everyone knows how much you pay your MTs.

As a whole.. nice people to work for, decent benefits but the get off/on the system, work/no work,
is maddening. I couldnt pay my bills or even work the schedule I was assigned. They would ask us not to work until work built up in the evenings and I specifically wanted to work days as I have kids etc. It just didnt work out for me but to each his own. It just seems there has to be a better balance in this business that what is happening.
I did speak with my manager. Work was promised. No work there when I needed to work.
I see the reports everyday too, but when I get work it is of bad quality, then there is no work unless I work diffrent shifts. Thank you.
My liaison always says to work on secondary when primary is low on work/no work. n/m

No, after I read a followup yesterday that said there were apologies and answered Michelle, I realized that and someone said to just get back to work and they were right.. even an apology was too much, plus it would look like I was just tagging along after JMO, which is what you are accusing me of now.

I just didn't understand where the posts went, it was odd, and I wanted to reiterate some things (the point I mentioned earlier, about seeing BOTH sides), but I see it really doesn't matter WHAT I say, you've already made up your mind about me and my motivations without even knowing me. Why am I explaining myself to you? I dunno.

It doesn't matter. Good luck to you and don't worry, God will take care of/deal with me, and I ask him to bless you all too.:)

Oh my.....I didn't know Wal-Mart had "greaters". I thought they were greeters! I am sure they are hiring though so you should do well there.
